Speaking of Megs, I'm pretty sure if you get it from like BBTS you'll get one with the orange tip on it....although I think most of us get ours from the Japanese sites anyways but with the Yen coming in strong, anyone want to do a group buy on this to at least save on shipping? I'm willing to coordinate and if we get it from HLJ we won't have to pay up front like AE but won't save on an extra 10% on the savings but either site is fine. PM me if you guys are interested. Thanks for running the UPC. I checked my local Walgreens (on Taylor's Ferry in SW Portland) just in case. They were fully stocked with Wave 2 so nothing new.

 

This must be where all of Wave 2 is going to in Oregon. Walgreens, not TRU or Target.

I forgot to post that I found a voyager Astrotrain at Jantzen TRU on Friday. Looks like TRU is the place to check if anybody wants him or Alpha Trion.

 

Got a bit of an odd sighting. Was at Uwajimaya tonight, and found the Kabaya metallic Fort Max. Bought one of each part, there was still a box 1 and box 2 left, didn't see any other box 3s though.

 

It's a nice set. Kabaya TF Gum sets have always disappointed me for being a bit on the cheap side (as opposed to Super Sentai/Power Rangers MiniPla sets), but Fort Max is my favorite. The Metallic ver. is the same as the Fort Max released a few years ago, but the new paint apps and a couple more decals go a long way. I purchased a case and still have a full set left.

I miss having our Oregon Social group on the board where we organized get-togethers. Since that functionality is no longer present, I was thinking about forming a thread in the conventions and get-togethers section.

 

It gives you the option to print the coupon for in-store use and that method worked for me to get 20% off Brainstorm.

 

Brainstorms galore as far I can tell from Vancouver. They are likely in the backstock.

 

Nabbed a Brainstorm at Aloha TV Hwy Walgreens. The price was $17.99 and the phone/print coupon worked.

Thanks, I know!   I was just trying to help folks with the online coupon. I posted the Walgreens link in the main discount thread, and it had the option to print the coupon.

The cool thing about this coupon, I found, is that it discounted ALL the regular priced items with the one coupon. So buying 2-3 toys got you 20% off of each. I'll keep that in mind for next time they do this... (also, some employees were nice and let me keep the coupon, so you don't necessarily need to print multiples). I couldn't believe how smooth and easy it was to use - they pretty much expected the coupon that day, and gave no problems. Even the checkout system accepted it without issue. Just weird to see things go so smoothly in this economy...

Found a ton of Brainstorms at the Bethany village Walgreens, along with Mindwipe and a Highbrow.

 

Found combiner wars Onslaught, Brawl, and Swindle at Gresham Marshalls. White Optimus Prime and Motor master and a couple of Brawls still there. Could anyone help me out with Blastoff and Vortex? Anyone seen them at Ross? Marshals? TJ Maxx?

 

Yes thank you for that, I wonder how often Walgreens has coupons? Definitely an easier find then any other exclusives that's for sure. Which is kind of crazy since Toys isn't Walgreen's specialty but it looks like they're expanding that way.
