I found the ending of TF4 was just sloppy and rushed. That ending just infuriated me. Many endings would be a lot better.

For me I would be liked to see this. So after Optimus kills Lockdown, the Autobots to into his ship and shoot some of the Decepticons while they retreat. Then Galvatron sneaks into the ship and has a final fight with Optimus. Then the Autobots crash the ship on purpose and the ship begin a to fall and collapse. The Autobots escape and leave Galvatron in the ship. The ship crashes and burns, making it seen as if Galvatron died. Then in the corner of the movie screen, you barely see a truck driving out of the wreckage and then it goes into where Optimus tells the Autobots to defend that family, and he sets the Dinobots free.

There are a few other endings I would've liked but this is definitely the ending I would've liked to see.

 

The film was already 2hrs 45mins long and we'd just had half an hour of straight fighting. Was glad for it to be over by that point but the ending was pretty shit.

 

The ending can be better if the KSI robots got a hard fight with Autobots, and what the point that Lockdown ship can sucks metal up to the air and drop it all down?not watchable at all...actually if the knightship can transform and have a great battle with autobots then would be very good ending already..Perhaps Dinobots can combine to form Extinction to fight with him..

 

Would of been nice to see a finale against Galvatron and his remaining drone's against the Autobots. But, Hopefully we'll get something better in TLK.

 

Hopefully part of the reason for hiring a writers room is to come up with better endings that feel satisfying instead of eh. After the Bay-ham it has felt like the production team really didn't know what to do so kill off the bad guys and just tack on anything to call it an ending.

 

The ending wasn't just eh, it was complete garbage, rubbish, sloppy, and rushed.

 

Lol you would want another fight to make this a 3+ hour long movie? Yuck.

The problem with the endings of these movies is that they don't have any sort of epilogue. Bad guy gets killed, Optimus says a speech and the movie ends.

 

How is that yuck?! And no it wouldn't be +1 hour. I would say at least to add 20 to 30 more minutes of it with a fight with Optimus vs Galvatron in the Knight Ship. It's just my opinion, no need to be dramatic and sour about it.

 

Yeah, like AOE had OP having his classic ending speech AND flying into space! Now that's astonishing.

 

You'd want the most one sided battle to go on for an additional half hour? The fight would have no tension because for all the flashy coreography and effects, there wouldn't be a doubt in the world who would win because it's every final fight in the sequels thus far anyway done over and over - Prime wins, Fatality, speech, roll credits. The ROTF battle in the forest actually could play the 'Prime LOSES' card with the brutal death bit, allowing the Decepticons to actually deal some carnage against Prime for once.

 

That's your opinion id you think it's one sided or not. Some of us would prefer an ending better than the one we got. And it wouldn't be a final battle since my version of the ending would lead to TF5 anyway.

 

Because the final battle for AOE was already too long as it is. Adding another battle would be pointless for the plot. In your proposed ending, Optimus fights Galvatron and Galvatron gets away. Galvatron already gets away without another battle in AOE so it'd really just be random action to add another battle to lead to the same result.

Adding 30 minutes would make the movie 3 hours and 15 minutes. Hell no. lol

I'm not being dramatic. It's my opinion that tacking on another battle would hurt this movie way more than it would help it.

 

Prime can't die, though. And if he can't die, then he doesn't lose. He wins before the battle even happens. If that isn't one-sided then please explain how.

 

We'll just have to see in the 5th one.

 

I thought the ending was alright. In comparison to the first three films, it was executed better.

You're the one quoting posts and telling people their wrong and your ideas are right!  

 

How does anything in TF5 have to do with you explaining your idea? All I did was ask for you to explain how your whole idea of an extra battle at the end extending the film by about 18% run time would be worthwhile when there is absolutely no way Prime could die, let alone loose, and thus making it entirely pointless to see Prime win yet another fight against Megatron at the end of a film? In essence, all you are being asked to do is discuss your idea and you act like somebody posing a legitimate question about your idea and asking for you to expand upon it is somehow being antagonistic.

 

Maybe not just have Optimus go into space cuz reasons.

 

How am I saying that their ideas are wrong and mine are right. When people give their opinions I don't tell them their wrong. Clearly you're misinformed or you misinterpreted by statement.

If I was telling people their ideas were wrong here's how it would go.

Person1: I believe that ###### is ####### because it ########

Person2: Well it's wrong ######### and I'm right.
