Bradford Smyths, the one that just opened recently, had a TON of Wave 2 Deluxes for £12.50. Picked up Mindwipe for myself and Weirdwolf as a surprise for my girlfriend. I won't see her until Friday, so for once, I'm hoping she can't find TF's in store. We're still missing Chromedome (Which they had plenty of), but I have the FunPub figure, so I'm not in a rush to grab him just yet.

Also of interest, when looking for a CW Sky-Lynx at TK Maxx to no avail, I found a Dark of the Moon Deluxe Topspin for £10. Not a great deal or anything, but such an odd find, I went ahead and picked up. Likely won't mean much for other people hunting. I know I've seen older toys there before (Saw a Star Wars Battlefront Scout Trooper last year, for the original Battlefront video game not the new one), but that's the first time I've seen Transformers that old in one.

Topspin is peg-warming in my local TOFS; I bought one at least a year ago and they still have 5 or six! Think he's £8 in there, so you're not far off. But his a crap figure though, mine won't stay together for love nor money!

I found Skyhammer in the Newark TK Maxx a few weeks ago for £14.99 (didn't post it 'cause they only had the one). Don't usually buy movie figures but I love helicopters so grabbed him. Really glad I did, he's fantastic! The polar opposite of Topspin.

Oh, and it's really nice to read abut buying TF's for your girlfriend! You're a rare breed!

Indeed. There was also that whole weird thing where in some branches Overload was ringing up at a tenner instead of the twenty quid on the shelf-edge ticket. But like I said: only in some branches, not all.
That might've been me. They had that big Dino Optimus for twenty quid - the same one Home Bargains were shifting last Christmas (I think) for a tenner. Plus I saw the fire engine robot guy (don't follow the show so I don't know their names) with a transforming trailer thingy. Not sure of the price on that one. Might've been £12.99.

Also saw some Kre-O Battleships sets in the Great Yarmouth TK Maxx. Alien attack ship thing for just under eight pounds.. Different to the two smaller sets B&M were flogging last Christmas for a fiver apiece.

    Here's definitely hoping.

That is great thanks - I'd not see the Chase or Heatwave with Trailers anywhere yet besides Argos - so I'll have to keep a look out for them.

I saw the giant Dino Optimus Primal in TK Maxx too he was £16.99 - I would kinda like the Giant Heatwave Brachiasaur he was supposed to be cheap in Home Bargains but I never saw one near me... He's fairly solid so I might be lucky and find an intact one at a Carboot Sale.

Now Hasbro why didn't you make the giant Heatwave Dino Transform too ?

I'll see if I can scooch to a TK Maxx again then see if I can find a Power Master Prme or the RID + Minicon 2 packs some said they saw.

You might be thinking of "Thief in the Night" where it was revealed that certain Transformers gave off "Dinosaur Transform Static", including Sky Lynx. And Swoop. Even thought Swoop isn't technically a dinosaur. (For that matter, if you think that Sky Lynx is a pterosaur, then neither is he, as pterosaurs weren't dinosaurs.)

Er, in other news, TK Maxx in Speke had PM Prime and Blaster. They're on a table in the middle of the floor rather than on the toy shelves, so you might miss them.

I was in Newark TK Maxx a couple of weeks ago. All they had was TR Blaster and RID guns and swords as well as a solitary minicon.

Hoping to pop in again this coming Saturday to see whether they have restocked.

So I just did some in depth research (I googled it and the first thing that came up) and unless i'm mistaken (I often am) Walgreens seems to be connected to none other than...Boots   I was only interested to know what shop potentially may carry the Exclusive Brainstorm but Boots doesn't seem plausible   so my question is, can a product exclusive to 1 store in America be Exclusive to a completely different un-associated store here in the UK? for example: Exclusive to Walgreens in USA, Exclusive in Sainsbury's in UK

I know Asda has Walmart stuff but I've seen both Tesco and Sainsburys carry Target stuff - but it's worth checking Boots because they do occasionally have a toy section in some stores. I got a lot of Prime figures reduced from Boots - voyagers and deluxes.

I'm pretty sure the answer is "yes". Toys R Us Exclusives tend to stay at Toys R Us brances (like the commemorative series), but apart from that, it varies. Account to Exclusive - Transformers Wiki

"Toys that are exclusive to store chains that only exist in the United States can be exclusive to other stores in other countries. For example, most toys that are exclusive to Target stores were usually exclusive to Zellers stores in Canada. A particularly good example of international store exclusive releases are Dark of the Moon Deluxe Class "Cyberglyph" redecos (Arcee, Bumblebee, Autobot Jazz and Space Case), which were exclusively available at Target stores in the United States and Australia, at Zellers stores in Canada, at Farmers stores in New Zealand, at Tesco stores in the United Kingdom and at Müller stores in Germany. Most likely, they were also available as store exclusives in several other countries.

It's also possible for toys that are released as exclusives in the USA to be available as general releases in other countries, such as the Target exclusive Scout Class toys from the Movie line. In return, toys that are available as mass releases in the USA can also end up as exclusives in other countries: For example, in the United Kingdom, the Alternators were originally only available at Argos stores; and a non-AllSpark Power variant of Nighwatch Optimus Prime was also released as an Argos exclusive."

They do have a toy section so why not? The exslusivity may not extend to world wide though, unlikely i think, may for tru exclusives but uk tru tends to struggle to keep up with exclusives anyway...

That legion clampdown has been sighted an age ago, has there been any/many sightings of legion bisk? Not seen him in store despite having groundpounder...

Yeah, Bisk is the one I want to find, I think a couple of people mentioned seeing him in Sainsburys but I never have, despite picking up Groundpounder
