He's good in-hand, honestly. I owned one for a long time and the only reason I sold my Function-X bots off was because Titans Return was good enough for me and I couldn't see myself paying $80 for each new figure in the line with FP's recent dip in quality. I had to start making cutbacks and $80 deluxe figures just aren't in the budget anymore, I just didn't feel like these figures were worth almost 5x the cost of a Hasbro one.

If anyone is on the fence, this is definitely worth it at $40 + ship though. Like, it's a no-brainer I think.

TFSource putting so many FP figures on a deep discount week after week is making me believe their figures are no longer selling like they once were. This is what, the 4th FansProject figure to feature in a deep discount weekend sale in just a few months?

Absolutely had to pick him up! the other two Fansproject figures i've got have been excellent..

thanks to everyone for posting this sale!

(sometimes its pretty marvelous to be this far behind the curve for buying 3p figures... )

From the Function-X line yeah. Like I said, Sigma L and MADLAW awhile back, Knight a few weeks ago, and now Crox.

But the entire FP Dinoking set was on sale a week or so ago, too. So that's what, 10?

Does TFS still lack a Pile-Of-Loot system like BBTS??? That always made me go for BBTS more often than not...

I remember they did TFCon Volar too for 50% off?

Yea, they are definitely excellent figures, it just got harder and harder for me to justify $80 a piece with everything else I collect. I knew I'd never pull the trigger on the remaining ones at the expense of something else so I sold my collection to someone local who is enjoying them a lot more.

No, they have it. It's called order stacking, and it's nice because TFS has free shipping over $150. I just added Crox to it, and I'll wait until some of my preorders come in so I won't pay for shipping.

Eh, I love the figure and have no problem having paid $80 for him, although I wouldn't complain if they were cheaper. I've gotten to enjoy him longer, and to me he's 5x better than the hasbro one. They all are, really.

The Hasbro ones have way way better head articulation. They are on ball joints and can rotate and tilt.

Fansproject heads can only rotate and some up/down movement. Feels like a robot.

Yeah, I bought a couple hasbro ones and they're like bobble heads. I really don't care if my tf can cock it's head side to side either. If it can look left and right, that's good enough. Up and down is nearly as important, but I really have no need for head-cocking and loose connections that make the head wobble.

I just got this figure along with Wierdwolf and mindwipe in the mail the other day. Didn't know about the sales on these figures. I got mine from eBay for a good price. I've transformed mindwipe and I just did skullcruncher tonight. The bot modes are great, the beast modes look great but I wish they had some more articulation in the legs. Skullcruncher just having hinged hind feet is a big disappointment, I hate when the legs can just be posed forward to backward.

Hasbro's version is a floppy piece of shit. Crox is a definite upgrade, especially at $40. Hell, even at regular price. Hasbro's Brainstorm and Hardhead are legit, but I would like FP's Hardhead if they ever make it.

It's on sale for $40, unless you had store credit or something.
