I loved that last Wolverine movie, and this trailer has me hyped! Looks like this could be the best one yet. I recognize the one actor from Narcos. I feel like I recognize the other guy that gets the claws through the head, but not sure who it is.
...I liked how the size and shape of the room that Xavier rests in Spoiler has the shape and look of a mock up of the chamber that housed Cerebro I guess the light coming in is supposed to give off the same light when looking for mutants through Cerebro.
I came across this image of the script from an article earlier this month, not sure if anyone posted it in here yet. Really liking how the script has to call out the tone of the film. I'm adding this to my watch list unlike what I did with Apocalypse. Gotta admit, the trailer made me feel like playing tLoU again.
Logan: Why Mangold Chose Johnny Cash’s Hurt For Wolverine 3 Trailer Here's a Reason why Johnny Cash's Hurt was in the Trailer.
Wow. That's a great trailer. I don't get how someone could watch a trailer like this and still hope Marvel Studios gets the X-Men movie rights back.
I don't want them to get the rights back, but that has little to do with the quality of the movies, which range from really good to pretty bad. I want more movies about the characters Marvel does have the rights to, because with Spidey and the X-Men in the fold there's no way that characters like Thor or Black Panther or Jessica Jones would ever get movies.
I guarantee you all if the movie does very well that Jackman will keep doing Wolverine movies. This won't be the last.
LoL, how about "I'm just trying to copy the last of us in every way that I can find." You can say it hollywood diector, everyone with an ounce memory members.
I agree, to a point. Overall, I'm very happy with what FOX has done with the X-Men in their own little universe, but if this really is the end of Logan (which I'm pretty sure it is), and with the ho-hum results of X-Men: Apocalypse, this would be a good time to really start working with Marvel Studios. Deadpool is already sort of in his own pocket-universe, so they can move forward with him
Man, this movie is going to be goddamn heart wrenching if this trailer is even remotely accurate. Looks beautiful.
I don't see it happening. Hugh is almost fifty years old, and a role like Wolverine requires him to stay in ridiculously good shape as opposed to Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man. That becomes harder as he gets older, and frankly it's not that healthy to get that ripped at at his age when he has been dealing with skin cancer. I'm sure he would love to do more if he found the Fountain of Youth, but I think he would rather have roles for decades more rather than just a few more Wolverine movies.
Agreed. Considering all the time he put into this one role for 16 years straight, he deserves to move on to other things.
