Well Navvy finally hit my loot. So excited for my first G1-style Devastator combined! Going to wait for MP Optimus Primal first before I ship.

 

I'm in the same situation. Two C-Trees. Emailed BBTS.

 

My Megasorry arrived with two A trees and I'm missing an E tree.

 

I mean sticking with same engineer(s)

 

My Tyrant also had the double "C" sheets with no "D."

My Megasorry is missing "E" with no duplicate.

The result is that I can't make either figure.

I've contacted Chosen Prime yesterday, but I haven't heard back yet.

 

scared me, checked my box right away, lucky that it's all the right sheets. pheew... I got it from Chosen Prime also.

 

My last two bots as well as Megasorry and Tyrant are out for delivery today. Hopefully all are free from issues and the bonus figures have all their parts. I am definitely ready to finish this guy up.

I made TCP aware that my Megasorry was missing an "E" tree. They told me they are keeping a list and will be requesting replacement parts from GenerationToys.

If anyone gets an extra "E" and they are missing an "A" - let me know!

 

Man, with all the missing and doubled up sheets on Megasorry and Tyrant, I would not want to be in the office with the boss trying to explain that away. Geeze. For something that was supposed to be a gift for the long wait, it really feels like more trouble than it is worth. I was thinking about buying one of these since I didn't get either with my pre-order, but I just don't think I want to take a $30 gamble on either one.

 

Both Megasorry and Tyrant came with everything (in my boxes).

To add to that, and I know it's been discussed:

The instructions do have one of the parts mislabeled, however at that point the only piece left on that sheet is the one you need so it's self explanatory.
As far as the instructions putting the assembly in the wrong order (which some have thought), that is a misnomer. One of the last steps is attaching the backpack to the figure. Many people have snapped the piece in the process. Best I can figure is these are people who don't know how to handle small, fragile things. When attaching that piece, move everything out of the way that you can, and use a set of channel locks, with something covering the teeth, to squeeze it on. Both of mine popped right on and I broke nothing.

Point of the story, BE CAREFUL. I really can't stand reading about people crying for free replacement parts on something they mishandled. It's not the company's fault you broke your toy. You need the proper tools to do the job. If you don't have the tools, don't attempt.

-1.5x40 mm flat head: yes flat head. It fits in the grooves perfectly and you won't end up stabbing yourself
-Nippers/snips: just for ease of removing the parts. This way you won't break anything by attempting to twist piece off
-Sharp knife/razor knife: for removing the flash. Hold the part on a hard surface, and shave a little at at time until smooth.
-Channel Locks: just for attaching the backpack. Cover the jaws with something so you don't mar the plastic. You don't need a lot of pressure, but these will be a more direct approach vs your hands and you are much less likely to break anything in the process.
-Delicate yet strong hands: VERY IMPORTANT!!! Watch where/how you are gripping pieces while putting the screws in. Yes you need a lot of pressure on the screw and yes they are hard to turn. The last thing you need is to snap something else off in the process.
-Break time: allow yourself some breaks. You will get frustrated and your hands/fingers will start to hurt. I took several breaks between assembling these little guys and cleaning my house.

 

I'll let you know the out come of my situation. If it looks like I'm up the creek without a paddle I more than happy to custom build your Tyrant/Megasorry figure. I would try it on mine first to see if there are any problems and iron them out before tackling yours.

 

I got loader and crane today , but without megasorry and tyrant   . Seller has kept them to sell seperately .

Who'd you purchase your set from? You should have received Megasorry at the very least.

 

Without meaning to offend someone or have someone reply all sarcastic, I was wondering how come you guys order from eBay or these sellers insteada a retailer like tcp bbts tf source? Whats the benefits? I remember with I think ko os g1 grimlock or os black optimus prime sellers were getting cheated outta orders and etc. How come?

 

I got my crane today. Combined mode looks great! but he didnt come with megasorry or the replacement parts just the replacement part instruction sheet!

 

For some people want them earlier than retailers get them. In orders I know there are some members who said they were in the UK so it's cheaper for them to order there, rather than pay high shipping + possible customs fees from the US.
