Looks great to me. The eyes seem much darker than before though. That's unexpected.

 

Yikes. I was almost starting to regret buying PMOP until I saw this. That red orange plastic looks terrible, and so does the red plate on the hands, not to mention the feet and that grey plastic which somehow looks worse than Hasbro's.

That's money saved, at least.

 

Looks great, but I am concerned about the dark, empty eyes.

 

Just looking at my MP Star Saber and comparing it with the photo, I'd say the red and blue colors are too bright in the photo. I don't think it is red-orange in hand. The silver-grey plastic doesn't bother me as much.

 

The feets, I have made my peace with them. I'll have to see them in hands but as it is, they're ok. Not a deal breaker, not as bad as i thought it was a first sight, I start to like them.
The grey however... Is kinf of a new concern. Wait and see I guess. But in any cases, I still want him bad, and I'll have him.

Uh, where the hell did you preorder that it (A) cost you that much and (B) you had to pay in advance? I ordered from NY which has notoriously expensive shipping and only have $78 to pay 15 days before the release...

God I hope not. Metallic paint in anything but lighter shades of silver or gold always looks so tacky on Generations figures.

 

Nope. If anything they'll switch the red and blue around because in the cartoon it looked like this:



But one thing is guranteed: His hands will not be all blue. So much for your "facts".

 

The blue fingers with the red backing is how all the pictures have shown it.

Yup. Just noticed it. In any case the pic posted is obviously not the finished product. What i really am not surprised at is the number of people here who judge the pre release toy quickly and dismiss it immediately..
Back on topic: December cant arrive fast enough!

 

I'll wait for final pics before worrying about grey plastic.

I assumed they changed the feet for godbomber. It looks like they needed clearance for the platform feet.

 

Oh so they will fix his ugly ass feet by the time he's realeased? I dont think so.
