I met someone I once knew and got in a fight, but it's good no- wait, what mind links? "Alright, but we also have to fight somewhere else. I don't want innocent people getting hurt." He picked up his Sonic Lightdriver and glanced around the room, noticing an elevator shaft on a far wall. "Jackpot."
I-I— ok, ok. Whenever I become close friends or form any sort of close bond with someone, my powers establish a mind link with them. It's... something I can't control... and it's only really good for alerting me when a close friend is in danger and allowing me to communicate with them and teleport to them over very long distances that my abilities normally wouldn't be able to reach.
Thankfully Tfan's pizza lands safely on her table where Dev is sitting. She looks up from the ground at him annoyed. "Dude... you don't have to yell. Your pizza is fine. But if you stop yelling, I'll let you share in some of our own cheese pizza."
"Definitely on the right track," Lego nodded as he stepped into the elevator. Oh wow, that's... actually really flattering to know that I'm a part of that link. But seriously, I've worked it out, we're all fine.
"Hello!" a mysterious computer voice stated. "This is a restricted area and you are not recognized as employees of Circus Baby's Pizza-" Lego help up his Lightdriver and activated it, causing the voice to become garbled for a moment. "Hello, and welcome to your first day as new employees at Circus Baby's Pizza World! To start, please enter your names on the keypad in front of you." A panel on the floor slid back and a yellow electronic touchpad with cartoony eyes shot up out of it, nearly hitting Lego in the face. Unfortunately it was too tall for him to reach. "Um, a little help?" he asked.
Lego attempted to type in their names, but the keypad was very glitchy and the keys kept moving around. "I see you had some trouble with the keypad. I see what you were trying to type and I will auto-correct it for you. One moment." Lego glanced at Sap quizzically. "Welcome: Angle Slap and Lamp Together."
As Ginga spoke, Jackpot continued to glance around, taking in the new surroundings with a light grin. Despite their frequent interactions in the past, casual hangouts like this had still been few and far between. "Psh, well I can't count on most of that happening... but we might be able to do something about that last part." And just because she had to be a little shit, she added with a wink, "No promises, though."
"Hey, did you see how crappy that keypad was?" Lego retorted. The elevator finished its descent. "You may now exit the elevator using that large, red, obvious button." Lego jumped up and smacked the button, causing the elevator doors to open. Strangely the hallway in front of them tapered off into an air vent. "Wait, we have to crawl through vents? What kind of stupid design is that?!"
"No, forget it. The pizza is irrelevant at this point. I just need to get out of here, I'll worry about eating when I get off-world."
"A Fazbear Entertainment design." Before they could get crawling, something snatched Lego's Lightdriver out of his hand.
"Hey! What the hell?" Lego looked at his empty hand, then glanced around to find his device. ((Not for a bit))
"WJAT THE FUCK IS THAT?!" SAP said, pointing to a tiny version of the Puppet wearing a tutu in the vent. It soon ran off, carrying the Lightdriver in its arms.
"HOLY SHIT!" Lego leapt back when he saw that THING. "Hey, it has my Lightdriver!" He dove into the vents, furiously crawling after the creepy-as-fuck ballet puppet thing.
"Well...yeah, there's not a chance in Hell of that happening any time soon." Ginga agreed, shoulders lowering a bit as he expressed a sigh. After everything that has happened recently, he knew that both he and his crew were due for some kind of a break. However, the following comment would get him to straighten out in an instant. He caught a glance at her face just in time to see that little wink, cheeks burning bright blue. "Well, I guess this gig has one key advantage over my old career..." He flashed a smirk over to her. "I get to spend more time with you...outside of a cell, anyway."
Dev walked back over from the door and took a slice of pizza. "Okay, I'm gonna head to howling and see if I can find our rooms. You gonna bring the pizza or stay here longer?" Meanwhile, Freddy has gone to check on ((Funtime)) Foxy, despite Bonnie's protests. "Hey buddy, you okay?"
