Awesome! Any new Animated is a good thing.

If anyone that received the magazine and doesn't care about the Animated content (not sure why you'd be reading this thread but...) and doesn't want it please let me know.

I'm also looking for a copy of the "Return of Blurr" story book if anyone has one they want to get rid of or a club member could pick one up for me PM me. Thanks.

The "Complete Allspark Almanac" actually added the extra stuff from the club prior to this upcoming issue.

 

Just when FunPub/TFCC is almost out the door, they pull you back in one last time.

Hope we get some good stuff revealed.

Considering some Animated toys were released in Takara's Adventure line, it surprises me they didn't think to do Blackout in a Movie inspired deco.

I mean that would sell like hot cakes.

Though being a foreigner, it sucks that I will most likely never get the chance to buy this.

Good news, I wonder how much more information will be revealed that wasn't in the Almanac yet.

Y'know, guys, I wouldn't be hugely surprised if this wasn't just a slightly-more-detailed version of what the AllSpark Almanacs already told us... like, I'm just saying, I'm not expecting Sari's origin to be suddenly revealed.

Really says something when the show that's been dead for 7 years can not only still deliver new material, but it's far more interesting than anything in current TF media.

 

I remember DJW once said years ago, maybe on my death bed I'll reveal what Sari is.

 

Well, DJW has said on Twitter he did more artwork than just the cover for this issue, so I'm hoping we get something more than what we've seen in the Allspark. I badly want to see Animated Optimus Primal.   Except, of course, that I haven't been a TFCC member in years... (specifically, since the Animated Cheetor toy was offered)

I don't know why but Megatron isn't looking any happier on that cover.  

There's about 3 reasons why he's mad:

#1. He got defeated by Optimus and got put in prison
#2. He never got to carry out any of his plans in season 4 because Animated got canceled before he could

or...
#3. Maybe because this hasn't got on the front page yet  

 

Here's a summary that I found on AllSpark:

- Secret Origin of the G2 Powermasters.
- Tech Specs for Animated characters (I think some of these are from a previous litho).
- Animated Season 4 Episode Guide.
- Masters and Mayhem comic. Lots of Thunder Mayhem action, Pretender Optimus makes his full debut, Toxitron VS Ramjet.

The S4 list is basically the same as the one in the Allspark Almanacs, with a few additions



An expansion of starter episodes. Optimus is the popular choice for the new permanent Magnus, but Sentinel is willing to do anything to keep his power. Sari, along with being taught by Arcee, is put in Autoboot Training under Kup. Sentinel breaks up the team, and when Strika and her gang start raiding Energon farms, Sentinel promises Megatron better treatment if he gives intel to stop them, but when word of this leaks to the public, he sets up a public trial/execution that leads to Megatron escapign.



Turf War would've been the introduction of Devastator, who we get a glimpse of.



An episode we haven't heard of, "This Is Why I Hate Organics" involving Rattletrap getting stuck on Earth, surrounded by disgusting organics. Soon he becomes a target of both factions



More Predacons would've been added.



Megatron becomes unstable from his tiriple changer upgrade.



Process of Elimination: Bumblebee investigates a series of attacks on himself, Bulkhead, Sentinel, and Ironhide. Suspecting either Shockwave of Waspinator, things take a mysterious turn when they are attacked as well.



Finale: Autobot, Decepticon, Predacon, and Dinobot try to stop Megatron from reformatting Earth into a New Cybertron, with lots of casulties. While Powermaster Optimus fights him, Sari discovers a deeper connection between herself and "Someone familiar" that holds the key to saving Earth and Cybertron.

 

Damn this all sounds good.

Such a shame we never got this *sigh* some alternate universe probably loved the hell out of this.

 

So, is it a comic, or like a guide, ala Allspark Almanac? Or a hybrid of both?

 

Knowing we'll never see any of that in animated form makes me sad, Season 4 sounds like it would've been rad. Still got my fingers for it to some day happen in comic book form though, I don't care how long it takes, I would do so many backflips if a Transformers: ReAnimated book actually happened.
