I did that shoot before I had painted the stripe and applied the symbols. Had just gotten Dragstrip so didn't do much to him at the time

Absolutely not. There isn't a life meter in Contra. One hit = one death.

Nope. Megaman uses a series of bars for the life meter.

Man, I've got to ask, just what kind of camera and/or editing software do you use? All of your pictures look phenomenal, crisp and clear!

Thank you! I use a Canon 70D with a mix of lenses these days, but IIRC that one was with a 55-250mm zoom. I try to do as much as poss within the camera itself and keep the editing process quick and easy, but I have recently managed to get hold of an old version of Lightroom which is proving quite useful for stuff like adjusting exposure & the like as need be.

Thanks for that info. I've been using a 6 year old point and shoot that has some manual control. But I've been meaning to upgrade to a DSLR for quite some time now.

Definitely can't afford a Canon 70D, but do you have any suggestions for some good "cheaper" DSLR's? Been looking at some of the older Canon Rebel models.

My wife has a Canon Rebel (or rather, the UK equivalent) and she's really happy with it. That's definitely a good bet, but to be honest any of the cheaper Canon DSLRs should be pretty good as a starter for ten. I didn't start off with a 70D - this is actually my third Canon after upgrading from two previous models over the period of about 10 years. No point moving up the ladder until you've got the functionality down first. But yeah, DSLR opens up a world of possibility over point & shoot.

Thanks for the advice. I'll probably invest in a Rebel pretty soon. I've been dragging my feet on upgrading, but your pictures are sort of pushing me to go ahead and start saving up for it.

Again, great pics and keep up the great work.

Sorry for the majority of this group being Beast Wars figures. I Just got a bunch in the mail over the last few weeks and I wanted to take some pics of them

Black Convoy (yes that is black convoy not Scourge) - I added the blaster effects and changed the color of the sword and eyes
    [IMG]

Optimus Primal (Telemocha not Robotmasters) at Stonehenge - I wanted to capture the feeling of the end of Season 1. Originally I was going to use a Beast Mode pic, but it just didn't work out well
    [IMG]

Dinobot - I love love love this pic. I added an effect to make his spinny thing look like it was spinning and added color to his eyes
    [IMG]

    Cheetor
    [IMG]

    Energon Optimus Fight Mode
    [IMG]

Generations Rhinox vs Energon Starscream - I added a spinning filter on Rhinox's guns as well as the muzzle flare. Starscream I made transparent since that's how he rolled in the show
    [IMG]

Rattrap on the Axalon - originally I wanted to have Cheetor and Rattrap but it just didn't flow well. no real changes aside for making Rattrap a little blue
    [IMG]

Optimus Primal going to the diner
    [IMG]

Blackarachnia in Grand Central STation - I don't know why this pic came to be but I thought it would work out well, I enhanced her eyes
    [IMG]

Dinobot in a cave - I modified the color of Dinobot to make him blend in more with the background

You're getting much better with your lighting man. You still need to work on those poses, though. Most of your figures in bot mode look like they're barely more poseable than a G1 figure.
