That's the problem. If anyone tries 'socializing' during TF while I'm trying to watch it, they'll be watching it with a few less teeth or their $10 soda in their lap.

For someone pointing out context, you sure missed a big dose of it. That comic strip was posted in regard to another poster's comment that stealing was sometimes ok, and the example given was when a person was starving. If you need the food, you can take it. He wasn't looking at it from the point of the one being stolen from. In this case, the farmer. Noone likes being stolen from. This had absolutely nothing to do with pirating the film. I later pointed out that if people are buying the DVD, watching it in theaters, and just DLing to watch in between, then noone was losing so it's a grey area at best. I never posted that to say Paramount was going to starve because of a Pirate.

No, a theatre is where members of the commonwealth go to watch plays, operas, and motion pictures.

At least according to my phone book, dictionary, and common social usage.

Depends on your point of view, again.
I thought they were all tedius, poorly paced films with little to recommend them.

My post wasn't meant to state a position regarding piracy. I was simply trying to show that the comic doesn't necessarily show an accurate picture. Its supposed to be funny by reversing what we normally expect. The idea of context is that we never see all of it. The book says the mean farmer is trying to starve the rabbits... the comics say that rabbits are starving the farmer. Neither actually tells us everything about the situation. If we were really trying to analyse the merits of theft out of desperation then we cannot do so with a comic.
Anyway I was just trying to have fun with the topic, not start a serious debate.

I do believe that is the point. It's considered a "grey" area. No black and white involved. In other words there is no right or wrong. Only the choice to perceive it as such.

    Sucks

I know at the theater where I work we like to make up our movies well beforehand so we can wath them to be sure no reels are misplaced or trailers are upside down and backward. It usually takes a handfull of us to check, too :p . I was stoked when it came in early, so stoked that when I had a chance I sat with the second can and started trying every possible combination starting from 0001. I gave up at 0541 though.
