I guess I "beat" the game already. I got it to where the credits roll, haha. I got Surfer's Paradise, Yara Valley, and Byrons Bay all too level 5. Outback is still Level 1. I cleaned out all the exhibitions and championships in Surfer's Paradise. Now I just gotta do ALL the races for the other sites and get the Outback to Level 5.

 

I played the hell out of this game this past weekend. Started playing Friday night, woke up Monday and did the Final Showcase.

Currently 740/1000, but no plans to unlock all the achievements though.

Right now, I'm just doing all the Exhibitions. Go to car for me has the Nissan 2012 GT-R Black Edition (Horizon Edition) that I bought in the auction house. Got some other HE cars through the wheelspin, but I really like this one. I am starting to like the Lamborghini Huracan LP 610-4 (Horizon Edition) though. Both cars are AWD, which I prefer.

 

Been playing this game for this week with my brother and have got quite far I have to say this game is incredibly fun and I'm not even into car games that much. I loved the showcase events and the amount of customization you have.

I completed all the exhibition races yesterday. Next on my to do list is completing all the championships. I also managed to get 3 Horizon edition cars from wheel spins. A Huracan and Camaro that has extra Skill Points, and a Viper that has extra Credits. I have not used the Viper yet.

My go to cars: 95' Ford Mustang Cobra R, 16' Ford Racing GT LeMans, and 16' Lamborghini Aventador LP750-4 SV. But they're stuck in the garage because I'm stuck riding around in whatever car I'm using for the championship I'm participating in.


Once I get through all the championships, I need to go back to Forza Horizon 1 and get my popularity to #1 so I can unlock the last Showcase. I also need to unlock the last barn find too. Then back to Horizon 3 to do some street racing, and make some blueprints. Then try to complete some showcases in Horizon 2.

 

Just create your own blueprint championship, should take like 30 seconds to set up. Thats what I started to do. I just pick my preferred class/car type. Remove all routes (can't remove the current route), and choose 2 sprint races. Based on your go-to cars, the first race would probably suck a bit if its an off road race.

 

The Aventador SV and Huayra BC are two of the best cars in the game, imo. You know a car is good, when you have four of the former, and use both interchangeably. It also doesn't help that I actually own said car, but whatever. I also managed to get three HE cars as well, which was pretty exciting  . I'm having trouble getting a lot of credits, though. I'm VIP, but I see people who are a lower rank than me, but have 16+ million credits.

Are they farming that Goliath race or something?

 

You own an Aventador! Awesome......I mentioned the 95' Mustang was my go to. That was my first car. Almost an Aventador, right?!? haha

My plan is to go through the championships as is. Once I'm done with that, I'll go to town with blueprints. I already made one. All Mustangs, 10 races including the Goliath. My problem with making blueprints now is that the game dosn't seem to have an easy way to find your blueprint races on the map. I know I blueprinted a single race somewhere in Surfer's paradise, but don't feel like visiting every race there just to find it.

Do you guys to Forzathon challenges? I did the drift challenge to get me the Nissan Silvia K. I haven't attempted to do the drag challenge for Falcon Race Car. Doing online is not my thing. Looks like the next car that you can win is a Warthog, by participating in some public games. Looks like no Warthog for me either.

 

Haha, that's awesome mate. My first car was an old, beaten down Camaro; poor thing. Luckily, my Dad helped me fix her up to her former glory  . My Aventador SV is definitely a completely different beast from that though, haha. I'm lucky my let me even keep the big girl.

 

Oh, I'll just stick with making 3 race blueprints to unlock that achievement faster. I already came across one championship that had 5 races. Plus, I don't want to be stuck with driving slow cars.

The Drift King challenges I unlocked. I don't want to bother with anything else. I already have a Warthog that I got via Xbox Live message. Going online isn't my thing either, not anymore anyways.

 

I completed all the championships and decided to start unlocking the street races ans doing them. And to my big surprise, completing street races unlocks this thing called Midnight Battles. I did my first midnight battle, and it's basically like the Star Showdown from the first Forza Horizon, with their car being your reward. I got a BMW M3 and was not expecting. So much to do still!

BTW, I beat Darius, finished all the races and completed all the Showcases in Forza Horizon 1, but to this day, have not unlocked the final barn find.......
