I haven't even opened my started pack yet, so I can't tell. But reading you guys' messages, I'm wondering just how much space does that game take after all is said and done and everything is downloaded? Sounds like the total file size would be massive..

As wierd as it sounds, at least with year one and the big update to year 2, it basically re-downloads the entire game instead of just adding on and on with larger and larger files.

That's fine. I'm a bit lucky in that most of the content I am for one reason or another, familiar with it, including Adventure Time. The franchises that I'm not don't play much of a part, Ninjago and Chima from year one. Though I know nothing about the Mission: Impossible movie franchise and I don't think I've seen E.T. since 1989 or thereabouts.

Just on the off chance you're (or anyone else is) curious, the Level Pack for Adventure Time is an amalgamation of the episodes, "The Enchiridion" and "Mortal Folly" with your Lego game differences for their reasons. (I re-watched them after I had finished playing yesterday)

480 in year one. I know, I got them all.

588 in year 2, I picked up 24 just playing in Adventure Time and I didn't get them all. I also wouldn't be in too much of a rush for abilities, while Raven and Supergirl may be the only ones to get stuff now, it certainly won't stay that way. Lots of people are speculating that Beetlejuice will have the same door power and constructs are something that any Lantern will be able to do.

According to an interview posted today, no she won't. Interview – Doug Heder, Executive Producer of LEGO Dimensions

I'm wondering if they're going to do some sort of promotion at LEGO stores or a mail away.

Nothing. There's been discussions about Lanterns before and there's quite a bit of speculation that we'll get a Lantern sometime this year; some people were betting on it being a Lego Batman Movie companion piece, but that we'd get a GL fun pack or a GL and either Red or Yellow Lantern Team pack at some point this release year.

Xbox 1 it's something like 28 GB. A far cry from Elder Scrolls Online's 75 GB.

Wooo, just got a message on the Dimensions Reddit that I won a Green Arrow figure! Super exciting since I'm never able to make it to conventions.

Did Harry Potter Adventure World yesterday. Pretty good, but those snowballs get annoying. Got everything but 2 bricks, both of which require Mission: Impossible guy.

Adventure Time is also missing two bricks, one is from BMO in the Tree House, but the other I just can't find. Using the "All Hail King Homer" I know it's in a bonus/secret area (since it's outside the world), but outside of the Tree House, all the secret areas on both the map and visiting them seem to be done, as outside of the Tree House, none of them have the arrow in them.

Did the Battle Arena with objectives. Not bad, kind of an interesting game. I'm not surprised to see invulnerability turned off for it.

Sorry to double post, so to say, but yesterday I had that 10 GB update, which then redownloaded the Adventure Time pack. Since I had a good connection, I also downloaded the other packs, just so when they invariably go on sale and I get them, I won't have to wait on adding them; though I wasn't expecting the Ghostbusters to be almost 4 GB.

Anyway, to the point, it seemed that I really couldn't get all the bricks before. I visited Pillow World within Adventure Time and sure enough, after I defeated the Pillow Dragon, now I get a Gold Brick, which I didn't before (twice). Now all I'm missing is the BMO one in the tree house.

Also did all the Battle Arena's. CTF wasn't that much fun, but Tic Tak Boom was.

Just ordered myself a adventure time level pack since its out of stock everywhere near where I live. Can't wait to get started. I hope supergirl and green arrow get a normal release sometime though since they are the only real DC characters I want.

Take it with a grain of salt, but I've been hearing that Black Friday, GameStop will be giving them away for purchases of Lego Dimensions $20 or more.

Just a brief PSA about abilities; some Year 1 have been updated with Year 2 and some Year 2 have secret Year 1 abilities:

Super Strength Handles: A new ability where the character grips something and pulls. Superman and Wonder Woman can both do it. Word is online a number a super strengths from year 1 can do it, but one person remarked that Bane could not.

Intelligence: A new ability where there's a matching tiles game to grant access to what lays beyond. The Doctor and Jay both have this ability.

Pole Vault: A year 1 ability restricted to Legolas and Master Wu, Finn joins them, firing his crossbow and then doing his flips.

Not an ability per se, but Finn is an amazing jumper. His regular jump is considerably higher then what others can do; in the Harry Potter world, there's a gold brick in a fireplace unlocked by putting out the flames with an acrobat bar. There's a trio to lead up to it that others have to use; Finn can just jump to the final bar. In the shard by the jump platform, on that incline, he's the only one who can make that jump to go from the portal area back to the catapult without using the ramp or flying.

Ooh, that's really great to hear! I already got my Supergirl, but I'd love to have a chance at Green Arrow! (And of course, I wouldn't say no to another Supergirl. :lol )

And thanks for the info on the new abilities!

Why was there a new patch less than a week after the initial download was made? Some patches to repair stuff? And why the heck can't they just send the repairs instead of making you re-download everything again. UGH.

Anyway I've been exploring the levels and everything, having a blast with gb2016, however... And I can't stress this enough... One of the Series 2 worlds yet to be unlocked better have another stud multiplier for their red brick, because I am really getting frustrated with the lack of multipliers so I can max out all my vehicles and tools without having to replay every level 8 times over. I got tired of Series 1 levels after I finished collecting everything. I want to farm studs, get 6 or 8 times multiplier on top of the 2 times from LotR world and start upgrading everything to max it all out.

Adventure Time's red brick gives you more multiplier bonuses when you defeat enemies, and Harry Potter's is a stud magnet. Not exactly a straight up multiplier but it'll certainly help.

Also i find the Adventure Worlds are much better sources of studs than the levels.

I don't know, I got almost 1 500 000 studs just playing through the Mission Impossible level, and another two for completing the Mini-Kit. The new Series 2 Level Pack Levels are really long... Can't wait for Sonic in November. :D  I really don't like the multiplier effect for defeating enemies either, I suppose it's an interesting mechanic, but aside from a few areas there are really poor enemy spawning points in the levels or even the adventure worlds during a quest.

I really find complaints about studs interesting. After a point I was rolling in studs (and I suppose I still am). Granted I'm not obsessed with completely upgrading everything I have, but even so, I was making studs very easily. With the Dwarven red brick doubling, the vehicle doubling (so 4x) with the stud magnet, I could fly around DC and LOTR worlds with the TARDIS and easily net a million studs each with virtually no work at all. With year 2's Harry Potter world, that place is virtually infinite money that way, following the train tracks around and picking up all those studs, since the world is so large it doesn't take long for the studs to respawn.

On top of that, every time I unlocked a new world, I'd make a fair amount of studs just playing. I went into Adventure Time with 20 mill and came out with 21, went into HP with 21, came out with 23. That wasn't even deliberately stud farming, that was playing the levels.

I've fully upgraded the TARDIS, Batmobile, Spy Hunter car, Hover Pod, Scooby Snack, and Ghost Trap (and perhaps others that aren't coming to mind) but most of my flight and under water vehicles were completely upgraded save the last chrome color upgrade, of the rest, most have all three forms unlocked; it's really only speed that I am cautious with, as sometimes it's way too easy to upgrade it and turn the vehicle into an undrivable mess, like what I unwittingly did to the Spy Hunter Car.

I've fully upgraded at least twenty vehicles so far if I remember my list right, the problem is that it costs 1 million just to unlock the final upgrade for every single vehicle. And you need at least another million or more to upgrade every section. I'm a big completionist nut, and while it doesn't count for in-game 100% status, it does count for 100% status of all the add-ons and functions of the game. So... yeah. x2 multiplier being the only one sucks, I wasn't even aware you could get another x2 from vehicles. I tend to just run around without vehicles on the toy pad, it's more fun to have large groups of characters from multiple universes just running around in a team. Krusty and Marty with The Doctor and Chell while Batman runs around at the head of the group... Way too much fun.

You may also want to get the A-team when you get the chance; the red brick cuts upgrade costs in half as well.

Personally I run a small crew when I'm playing and almost exclusively play as Superman, only switching to others as needed and swoop around in the TARDIS to collect studs before I leave any adventure world.

Although they are made with her in mind it could be possible that we could get some other red lantern character in a fun pack or such like Atrocitus. We'll just have to wait and see I guess.

Do you really think kids are going to buy a red lantern? I doubt it. I bet they release her later to promote supergirl season 2.

The beauty of dimensions. Play it how you feel. :)  Also, once I finish the GB story pack levels I pity da foo' who keeps me from my A-Team exploration.

By the way, did anyone else have a problem with the red brick in Adventure Time world spawning and doing nothing, no chase me down, no timer starting and no collected it to unlock even though it was right there? That happened to me before the latest patch, wonder if they fixed that when they made the new one?
