Stopped by Katy Mills TRU. They had 2 PM Primes, 1 Blaster, plenty of Galvatrons and Sentinel Primes, some Skullcrunchers, 1 RID warrior Scorponok, 2 RID warrior PS Prime, 1 RID Warrior PS Prime TRU colors, a lot of electronic RID PS Starscreams, a couple of electronic RID PS Primes, several Masterpiece BB, and a couple of Fortress Maximus. They had quite a bit of stuff there.

 

Had a good toy hunt today.

Tomball Walmart - saw TR Leader Optimus Prime and wave 1 TR deluxes. Picked up the only 3.75" exclusive SW BS Ahsoka Tano there.

Walgreens off 2920/Kuykendahl - got TR deluxe Highbrow and left 2 TR deluxe Mindwipes

Walmart off 2920/Kuykendahl - has plenty of TR wave 1 Deluxes and Voygers, a case of leaders (1 Blaster and 1 Prime). I also spotted RID Warrior wave 8 and got Autobot Ratchet, Bisk, and Scatterspike. I left the other Ratchet and Bisk there.

Walmart off TC Jester and 1960 - got the last SW BS 3.75" Royal Guard figure, still had the rest of the wave - 3 Admiral Ackbars, 2 Ahsoka Tanos, and 2 Lando Calrissians.

 

OOOh WOW, a new Royal Guard figure; I love those! I want one or two (they look good in pairs), especially now that I know that they exist. I wish they'd make a 6inch version, but these are hard enough to find. Thanks Soundwavempl for posting pics. I hope to see these in San Antonio soon.



What have my fellow SA TF-fans found out-in-the-wild lately?

 

Good luck on finding the Royal Guard figure. I didn't even know about this wave of the BS 3.75" until I saw someone on Toyark post in the "Look at What I Just Got" thread. I hit about 5 Walmarts since Friday and only found the one I got. He is the definitely going to be the hardest one to find in this wave.

EDIT - Oh, I also finally got TR Mindwipe from the Walgreens on Jones/Louetta and a Wolfwire from the Walgreens on Jones/Louedd/Cypress N Houston yesterday morning to complete my wave 2 TR deluxes. So Walgreens is still the place to check for wave 2 TR deluxes.

Looks like I am caught up on TFs until wave 2 TR Voyagers start getting stocked, which will be at least a month since wave 1 Voyagers seem to have hit saturation now.

Can't get into 3.75" figures for some reason. Sucks they usually have a better character selection than the 6" offerings.

I'm waiting for TR Wave 2 to hit Walmarts. $20 just seems too much for these figures so I can wait.

 

So with Bisk being sighted, any luck spotting one in Austin?

 

Sadly not much, and man have I been looking. Walgreens simply don't have Deluxes at all, San Pedro TRU was in the middle of a reset last I checked and their TF stock was literally shoved in a corner next to the Marvel Legends, 151 TRU only has a handful of Wave 1, and the Targets I've checked only have Wave 1 for Deluxes. It seems like Legends Laserbeak and the awful Ravage have reached saturation, though, so maybe the Deluxes will follow soon?

I've been looking for Ironhide, and perhaps Prowl... oh, and Drift?

EDIT: And Ratchet. And Perceptor, I suppose. Man, I sold so many important toys back before the current comics were written...

Heroes & Fantasies off of 410 exit 14A has some neat vintage stuff, but be prepared to pay through the nose. They upcharge like mad if they know it's good. Alien Worlds off 410 exit 8 has the occasional G1 TF but they're largely a DC/Marvel seller.

This morning at the Rowlett Walmart besides TR wave 1 deluxes and a PM OP and a few Titan masters there was several Bisk, Thunderhooves, Windblades, Quilfire, Ratchets, and Scorponoks all of the RID types

Wal-mart at 635 and Midway has one Blaster, one Sentinel, one Hardhead, three Galvatrons, and several Blurrs and Scourges. No smaller TRs or Optimus Prime though.

 

Early this morning I stop in to the Walmart in Mesquite off 80 and beltline and the had tons of wave 1 TR deluxes, 2 Sent Prime, 1 Gal, and 1 each of PW OP and Blaster. Also 2 sets of TR legends Laserbeak, Ravage, and Rumble. Also had RID Ratchet, Windblade, Quilfire, Thunderhoof, Scorp.

 

Cedar Hill Target has revamped everything for Rogue One. Had to search around for the niche of Transformers. Still have Wave 1 of TR deluxes (but no Blurr) and Stripes & Wheelie. They did add Wave 2 Titan Masters (Apeface, Clobber, Skytread & Brawn). Also have TR Galvatron & Sentinel along with a lonely Motormaster. Only Leaders were Thundercrackers.

(On a side note, I couldn't help but notice a Toronto Blue Jays shirt on display towards the front of the store. Why Target, why?)
