The head isn't too bad; I just push it up from below instead of trying to pry the hatch open from the top.

 

Did you try the foot rocker? There is a pivot

 

A week later everything has loosened to a nice point. Think I like transforming it better than Despotron.

Got a technique for getting it in as that is what i struggle with. I tried it once and grazzed part of his face so i didn't bother risking folding it in all the way. It feels like you have to crush it in.

 

Thinking about getting this. Stewing between him and the GT Tyrant. I apologize if already noted in the thread but does mini mightron come in gun mode or bot mode in the box? Also, any pics of the box? I'm digging the retro vibe of the DX9 boxes.

 

Mightron is hands down way better but u pay for more with him in paint and accessories. Both gun and bot mode are much better. The only complaint with mightron is the sliding of the left arm.
Ima say this again.... gun mode is a million times better especially with the gun stockand silencer.

So I finally came around and purchased mini Mightron and love it. Left arm is good and tight (at least for now). Any idea when DX9 will get around to a Prime to match up against? Any other G1-sh legends scaled Primes out there now?

 

Iron Factory has a War Within styled Prime with God Ginrai armour, and Hasbro is rereleasing their Hybrid Style Optimus for the Chinese New Year.

 

I didn't hear about that; is there any improvements to the mold? Is it the traditional colors or a new color scheme?

 

I doubt there will be any improvements; it's just Platinum. However it will be with its original trailer and in the original colours.

This figure and detailing is very impressive. Alt mode is fantastic as a weapon for combiners/figures at 18"/45cm and over. Once you have the transformation logic down with a few iterations, its smooth with a spudger tool.

Vast majority of IronFactory figures are better than the DX9 legend sized figures, but this one is > all the IFs.
China MSRP price is equivalent to $30 USD. If the global prices were closer to the China price, then I believe this would be a more popular figurine.

 

Just got mine from BBTS. What's the best way to safely remove the orange plug?

 

Does anyone know if there are any flight stands that would work for this?

 

I bought one but it didn't come with instructions. Can anybody post a picture of their instructions for me?
