I swear to god Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth is DESIGNED to prevent you from taking Lazurus to fight The Lamb.

    Mega Satan? No Problem.
Hush? Nail biter but I got it done.

But NO MATTER WHAT, The Dark Room is litterally chock full of artificially difficult bullshit (THREE ROOMS WITH NOTHING BUT MULTIPLE FUCKING MEGA FATTIES A.K.A. THE SINGLE WORST NORMAL BOSS IN THE GAME) that I will die before I even reach Lamb. I have builds that can CREAM Hush that will fall before ever fighting The Lam because it is just that horrible.

Gonna take a long break before I EVER play that game again. Because fifty tries and not one can make it to that final boss room. Just too bullshit.

Yeah, I always hard reset for an OP item if I plan on taking the Dark Room. No Quad, Poly, or Fetus item? Reset! I only tend to even make it that far if I have a build that nukes, like, the entire floor in one shot.

I've been playing Hyrule Warriors as of late. First Warriors game, and it's a lot of fun! Can't seem to get a handle on Impa, though.

What gets me is, being the hardheaded idiot I am, as soon as made that post I went right back in and fired up Eden. Summary of that run:

    - Spawned with a red heart and two soul hearts...along with the yum heart and the heart torch angel room item (so starting out I had max measurable damage AND psychic shots)
    - subsequently got dead onion, toothpicks, and $3 bill
    - cleared Mom fast enough to get Boss rush, which had Tech X. Absolutely slaughtered everything because the Tech X rings combined with psychic tears literally reaches out to kill enemies nearby.
    - managed to get to Hush and...generally every treasure option was shit or would break my build (Keeper's Head overriding Tech X is not known to me but after a previous run where I lost room-sized scythes for mom's knife due to 'curse of the blind' screwing me over, I wasn't risking anything) but I still kicked his ass since his deliciously massive second form can have every point of contact damage from the Tech X rings hitting simultaneously.
    - Killed ??? in ten seconds.
    - Totally would have then murdered Mega Satan had a second angel room spawned or at some point gotten Dad's Key.

Second strongest run I've ever had - second only to the time I got Luvidico technique on Azriel. Brimstone + Clockwork Orange reference item = permament player-controled ring of infinite DOT. Why I can't get even half that lucky with Laz is just infuriating.

Bought a PS4 Slim yesterday and finally started Fallout 4. Definitely a learning curve from 3 & NV.

I tried playing System Shock for 2 hours. Uh.. Well, it was easier to play than Fallout. But that's like saying I'm faster than a snail tied to a rock.
Tried playing System Shock 2 for a little bit afterwards. HUGE improvement across the board and I like the stat distribution introduced but I needed to go play a Mario game before I went fucking nuts.

I'll probably just jump into Bioshock and wait for remakes of both System Shocks before playing them again.

mario kart 8: a lower level of good
    halo 5: great
    rocket league: bottom-of-the-pit-bad

so i'm a completionist when it comes to racing games, and i'm almost done with getting perfect trophies 100cc in mario kart....i just mess up sometimes at the 4th race and i have to restart it....

i have been playing at least 4 rounds of mongoose sumo for every 1 round of anything else....i'm not good a mongoose sumo, but somehow i'm winning them! this one minotaur match i did not die! i even killed a few players that jumped out of the mech trying to be sneaky! i'm also doing great in riftball! 3 goals in a row!

rocket league though......i join an active rumble match, one minute in with the score 0-7 in their favor, and with the teamates playing "touch the ball", i can understand why.....it got so bad, i just started running laps on the map........i've yet to win a match in over a week......

I borrowed my uncle's copy of No Man's Sky, and it's alright. It's a good way to unwind after a stressful day and really, REALLY pretty, but that's about it. Probably helps that A) I like Minecraft and all those survival games and B) I knew what the game was and everything that surrounded it thanks to Jimquisition and the like.

So I just realized that we are pretty much 3/4s done with the year and I have only played Witcher 3 and Uncharted 4 this year. Holy crap!! I haven't played so little video games in a given year like this since the early 90s.

I'm still playing Lord of the Rings Online. Not as often as when I started, but it's going on six years in December, and I'm still enjoying the game. As long as they keep adding new areas of Middle-Earth to explore, I imagine I'll keep on trekking through the game. I love exploring Minas Tirith and the Beacon Hills.

Replayed Star Trek Voyager: Elite Force recently (found a way to get it to run on Windows 7) and am currently working my way through Elite Force 2. I keep getting stuck on the level where the Enterprise blows up if I can't protect the warp core, and I haven't quite figured out how to stop it. It's always fun running around a Star Trek fps.

With a new update coming, I decided to fire up Animal Crossing New Leaf again. It's been so long since I last played, my main room is Halloween decorated :lol .

But some cool stuff happened. I finally got a Metroid, and my least favorite villager moved out while I was gone.

Assassin's Creed Unity. Started this thing last year, dropped it back in January and now just resuming my game from Sequence 6. A bit lost but it's coming back to me and nothing the wiki can't clear up. Want to finish this so I can finally start Syndicate.

Chugging along in Fallout 4. Wasn't sure what to expect with the crafting/settlement aspect. Now I'm addicted to it.

Nothing for I'm in a gaming ruta at the moment. Plenty to finish such as Fallout 4, The two Witcher 3 expansions, etc. Just have not felt like gaming like I use to.
