Hasbro. We get it. You love your new marketing waifu like you love Optimus and Bumblebee. You've done more than enough to showcase that. Now her job is done so let someone else take the reigns and lead the story. Hell, put the spotlight on Chromia or the female Vis Vitalis crew. The latter did say they were going back to Caminus so why havent we seen them? Let some of the B or C-list characters take charge and handle the next chapter instead of your usual marketing tools.
Oh great! Windblade discovers yet another wondrous IDW universe aspect with her miraculous ability of "bein der when it dun happen". Hasbro, you and Windblade get a damned room already.
Hasbro, please don't ever abandon Windblade. It's because of her that I'm now into the IDW comics, so I greatly appreciate her.

I have no idea who those tiny people are(Micronauts, I'm guessing) but it is a really nifty cover and is getting me hyped for the interior art. Why are people complaining about Windblade being in the book? You are aware that she is one of the main characters of TAAO, yes? ONE OF THE MAIN CHARACTERS. She's part of an ensemble cast along with Starscream, The other Council members, Chroma and Ironhide. Whingng about Windblade being in her own book is hilarious XD Don't most comic book characters have this power? Being somewhere at the right(or some times wrong) time is how 70% of MTMTE's plot happens.
IDW is one of their usual marketing tools... Used to sell toys and other licensed materials. We all remember that this character was voted on by fans and is FOR fans, right? So by that rationale, Hasbro's marketing dept. Is doing EXACTLY what people want. With their usual marketing tools. See? This fan likes Windblade! Maybe THEY should get a room with her? You know, because they don't represent REAL fans and therefore Hasbro shouldn't use their tools to market to this fan who likes the fan-built character. I'm kind of personally glad to let someone other than King Bee or Optimus have a go for a while. -A.S.
Leave it to Transformers fans to whinge about the main character of a comic being featured on the front covered of their comic. Bloody buncha smarties we got in this fandom, I tell ya.
Don't be a douche. This isn't about being a "real fan", it's about Windblade being poorly inserted into everything. We didn't decide she was " The City Speaker" , or that talking would be her ability. We created a Transformer, we didn't intend to create the central focus of everything Transfomer.
We were told beforehand that the character created would star in their own comicbook, get a toy and be used across multiple fictions. We also voted for her to have the special power of telepathy, which is what was translated across as being a City Speaker. So...
