Great news; already have my preorder in.
Hopefully this sells well and they drop the last 2 collected editions.

Sonuvabitch, is this thing back on track after the forever delay and possibly never publishing schedule.

    Sweet!

I wonder why the have such brilliant exciting covers for the UK trades yet just "meh" covers for the US reprints. They feel as exciting as Euro Sega Master System Box Covers.

I don't meant the actual art or artist, just the lazy cover design.

"Remember that dude what turns into a truck, here he is STANDING on a cover, WHOA!!! Fuck me that's exciting! Do that, put that on the cover! Scrap that whole big battle scene we were gonna go with"

    Oh. Wildman art again. Gross.

It's really shallow, but I've been hesitant to buy these books because of how absolutely ugly the covers are. I'm still hoping for a hardback collection one day.

I've skipped the U.S. collections because I have (most) of the old Titan hardback set.

I vastly prefer the mercenary design of the US covers. I already have a hard time getting through the old G1 comics. Those covers, while great indicators of what happens in the volume, are ugly to me. They just instantly remind me of what I'm sitting down to read. Frankly, they're a turn off. Just my preference. Then again, I see neither for long. I see their spines more than anything else.

Just stopping in to say hell yes, I love me some Andrew Wildman artwork. I think that's the first time he's ever done a Quint? I like it.

I'll be psyched to have this. :D

Are Snarler and Carnivac even in those issues?

My enthusiasm for this release has been slightly tempered by the news of Hachette\'s incoming hardcover G1 Definitive Collection partwork, but no doubt I\'ll still buy it. Just disappointing it took so long after v5 to get this.

Carnivac, yes. Snarler... I think not.
