I agree 100% about Warb Bruticus, I've never had an issue with that chest piece falling off with all three points secured.

I'd say from a stability standpoint GB feels as good if not better than Brut. The weight is about the same and the plastic is certainly a set up. I'm not much of a figure poser so I haven't really run the joints through their paces yet. Hoping I can get some more hands on time later today to mess around with him.

Like with the face storage on this set, you can store Despotron's extra faces in the back of his left leg or in alt mode, in the compartment with his head.

It's, unfortunately, a running theme with this set. They all (I think all) have parts that just flap in the wind, that could use a peg to hold them in place. So weird considering the extra mile they went to in other areas. Those little flaps you mentioned to hide gaps in combined mode. The panels that fold out of Dump Truck to make him look better in combined mode. The tiny little flaps that fold out to hide Scavengers elbows in alt mode. Just weird that go the extra mile in some instances and then say "F$#@ it" for others.

haha too true. They've had moments of greatness in this set that are then overshadowed by under-engineering. I can't wait to spend some more time with Crane and GB tonight.. almost wish my Despotron had been delayed so I wasn't distracted by him.

It is sadly one of the weaknesses in the line. When you have companies like Mastermind or Fanstoys were everything tabs into something you hope other companies start doing the same. Hopefully they learn from these figures and add more tabs on future products.

I am still really excited to get Crane in, hoping TCP will have him in next week.

I really prefer GB's purple, compared to every other Devy, to be honest. It's one of my favorite features. Just like I prefer the darker purple on QuakeBlast.
It's the color the original *should* have been, but instead they went for the default purple back in '85.

Agreed with all these points. My plan is to stuff some bluetac into the chest plate. Devys head assembly is a mess. Will detach and store all the flaps in devy mode.

And Wait till you start assembling megasorry!! The mini screws are a pain to install. Mines painted and should be finished soon.

And a link to the panel lining method if anyone's interested.

Yep. It's that different hue of purple that really makes this set stand out. It's one of the things which initially got my attention when I wasn't even looking for a Constructicon set.

I found a slightly different way to pose Bonecrusher's shoulder pauldrons. I think it looks more 'finished' this way.
I also painted the eyes of all my Gt Constructicons red. It's from a red gundam marker, so it retains a lot of the translucence (when lights are actually behind it).

I actually asked Action Robo about this too and they said they had no knowledge of it. I was about to order from them but then I realized they were sold out. I then ordered from Tony at Chimungmung and got an email saying it would be 3-4 days delay for a fixed ones. After six days I messaged Tony again and now he says hopefully next week for the updated ones Dx. Upsetting since I paid in full expecting to have him and Megasorry in my hand already :( . I don't want to fully play with my GT set until I get all the replacement parts in and then fix all of them first.

After actually getting time to sit down with my crane and dump truck, I have found both figures
to be in excellent shape. To the people asking about the extra heads and black noses, My crane
came with an extra head and faceplate in a baggie BUT both its head and Devys head had silver noses right out of the box.
Dump truck came with an extra head and the megasorry box had a bag of extra pieces for him.
Bought mine from TD for the record. So far, tight joints and no issues (so far) all around.

Is Feral Rex at his highest setting? If so, how much taller is Devy over Feral?

    Thanks,

Exactly the reason why I can't pull the trigger on these figures.

Most of them look great (although Bonecrusher is an eyesore to me), but there just too many little issues that prevent me from going for them. Tiny little things like parts not tabbing in and just hanging on and little transformation point. And I think it's a pity, because part of me really wants to get them for the things and the figures that I absolutely love.

I don't have them next to me at the moment but yeah that's Rex's tallest setting. I'll try to measure them later tonight for you if no one else has.

Definitely get where you're coming from. If you like the look I'd check out Navvy or Scraper and see how you like them in hand before going all in. Sell them off if the kibble is too much of a detraction. The set overall is pretty epic honestly.

To each their own I guess. The parts that do not tab really doesn't bother me having them in hand. Once set, it stays there until you move it or bump it, lol. For me, it's like wrapping a present. Do you use 25 pieces of tape to secure the wrapping when you only need 3 or 4 and still looks and holds the same?

Yeah, those small bits that don't tab into anything are annoying but few and far between. So far the set is rock solid.
