SENTINEL PRIME Amasses TITAN Army In TRANSFORMERS: MTMTE #57 Finale

We get a bit more of an explanation on what Sentinel/Infinitus has been doing for millions of years.

Well that explains why it took forever Sentinel Prime to make his comeback.

I can't believe this is the last MTMTE issue (technically).

Bigotted insane Sentinel is seriously making me want his TR figure for just how stupidly intolerant a characiture he is. But I have to say, is teh recton here that he was always a headmaster? It looks like his head is detaching... but his dead body still has a head... maybe he was folded up inside the chest? The art isn't especially clear.

 

Yes, he was always a Titanmaster. I think it's meant to just show him going from head to robot--like how there isn't literally another Infinitus transforming in the air behind the one who's about to land, it's just showing the different stages of his transformation.

Infinitus spending the last 4 million years underground trying to build a new body for himself while constantly fading in and out of consciousness is hilarious because it's almost exactly what Tailgate was doing.

 

Basically Red is still in fantasy land and just had every other Transformer in IDW verse dream of killing Prowl. Infinitus is going be one trippy villain and I do like him.

 

I know that, but usually there's lines showing the head or whatever turning into the robot, or the alt mode (in this case the head) is faded. I thought he as leaping out of the chest or something like he was a loadbearer and only recently has he specifically made himself a headmaster. Especially as the mid-transformation shot of Infinitus looks nothing like Sentinel's head, and the assumed angle of detaching is an awkward 90 degree turn midair rather than a clean arc away from the neck.

 

Anyone else ever think how much more IDW looks like Armada Megatron than like Fort Max?

Also I really hope he\'s worried about hurting Red Alert, cause man you are not doing a good job keeping the point one percenter reputation going there.

 

Chalk it up to an art flub. The TR one-shot mentioned that Sentinel's head vanished from his tomb, which makes it pretty clear that's what's meant to be happening here. The stuff about eating sparks, controlling Titans, and being able to plug himself into any headless body also indicate that he's not just a loadbearer or ordinary Cybertronian who modified himself to be able to turn into a head; Titan Masters are something entirely different.

 

And thus the explanation for his survival is given.

I wonder how this issue will turn out? Cause it's clear that Sentinel isn't stopped, given the description of TAAO's Titan's Return issues.

 

I refuse to believe Prowl is dead. He's got too many unfinished plot lines. Also need to know whats up with Red. Maybe there's a little dude on his head after he got rid of his original one. Hm.

Also, I'm going to need to buy Fort Max just to get Cerebros. Liked his toy before, now need.

 

The comics portraying Sentinal as a villian makes me really want to get his figure , BAD ! lol.

 

I just imagine Sentinel walking down the street and seeing robots holding hands, hugging and throwing arms over eachother's shoulders and acting with comedic revolt with greater exaggeration each time.

Oh God, what if he ended up on the Lost Light? He'd have a meltdown.

 

If Prowl is gone for a good long while, Roberts has become the MVP of Transformers writers. Finally. Let\'s see some other characters step up.

 

Man I really do want that TR Sentinel Prime figure now, but with the exception someone makes an Apex Armor 3P Add-on as seen in Titans Return #1.
