I got my hip armor a while back, but had to inquire. I still haven't got my claws and not sure if I ever will. While I really like this, I'm not feeling terribly hopeful. As everyone has mentioned, continued communication would go a long way.

I may contact here soon and ask for a refund myself. Not sure why he doesn't even come to the boards anymore either :(

This feels like another Nonnef/Maiden Japan situation. I think I'm done supporting small-scale projects like this; I'm starting to feel taken advantage-of.

What was the issue with nonnef? It seemed like he did ship everything, he just knew to not take advantage of people and thus discontinued shit so that people couldnt buy more than he could produce. Which seems like what MJ should have done

Nonnef didn't send any of his "Trivia" bots although he told people he did. So no, he's not cool

    Hard lesson learned I guess.

Good luck to anyone on here who wants to start a small business/sell things to fans. These guys pretty much ruined it for you.

The Doc seems like a cool guy ... still see him post on Facebook often. Not sure why he can't use that time to log into here for 30 seconds and post a one liner reply :(

THAT I hadn't heard. The main complaints I've seen with my own eyes is people getting really upset that he's no longer selling stuff, which seems like an absurd thing to me since it looked like Nonnef realized he couldn't deliver so he knuckled down on finishing his commitments and stopped selling new stuff, which seems reasonable to me? Worst I've had from him is waiting, I've only just gotten the rubber wheels I ordered from him (as in just a little over a week ago) and I ordered that a loooong time ago

Granted I've lost over 100USD to frenzyrumble, so it takes a lot to get me really mad in this regard haha

Yeah, Nonnef isn't offering refunds anymore either. He said it's because all the Trivias have shipped out, but that was in July.

Everything he sold was really tight so we all bought into Trivia with confidence. Like GCI, he could just come on here and admit things didn't work out and focus on getting everyone their money back, but well.. I don't know. I don't know why they can't just do that.

Nonnef also cancelled his main project, the Not-Whirl, basically the primary thing he was even around for, which is now never going to be manufactured. It's a huge shame as people were going rabid for that figure. You can buy a version of the kit that looks like it's made out of sand on Shapeways, but it doesn't sound like Javaco is going to release it to a real manufacturer again. Bummer.

I will tell you, if I hadn't walked over to Dr K's place and gotten the claws myself, I am quite sure I never would have gotten them. He doesn't communicate. He starts projects and never finished them. He doesn't pay people for their work. This was the end result since the start. If you can get your money back, do it.

As we speak I just sent him an email requesting refund. Hopefully he contacts me back. :)

EDIT: He quickly got back to me. Said he would process refund in 48 hours. I hope everything is going okay. I would probably order again when it's ready.

I guess I'm not getting my claws. I'll be emailing him tomorrow for a refund unless he has them ready to ship immediately (which I'm not counting on). Very unfortunate.

I got my refund within 48 hours Honesty, so I'd say you should be fine with yours.

What was most disappointing was that there was no fight. No explanations, no project timeline or info given. Just that it'd take 2 days for the refund to go through Paypal. Lesson learnt I suppose. Best to wait until the product nears completion or is ready to ship as opposed to jumping on the early bird price for newer start ups.

Ive had several business dealings with GCI / Dr. K before. I pretty much buy all my 3rd party stuff from him or TCP. Never had any issues. Prices are always on point, orders always ship the same day.

I mean, if this is a project he is fabricating himself, you have to expect delays. The whole production delay thing is kind of a meme in the 3rd party community at this point right??

Hey folks, long overdue update on whats been going on in our production of the add on kits and Gulper.

I will start with prefacing that if anyone wants a full refund, please ask and the money will be returned, with that said here's what's going on.

The full Gulper figure proved overly ambitious and exceedingly more difficult to make then first expected, many ruined molds later I have decided to outsource the production to China. It's not ideal, but ultimately its the only way to get the figure out anytime in the near future.

The Bruticus add on parts, also proved more difficult then expected, but we should be rolling out non 3D printed prototypes of those in the next 2 or three weeks and test shots in about 4 weeks.

Those that choose to tough it out and continue to wait with us will be rewarded as a thank you for your trust and support.

My intentions was never to run things out this far, but my ambition got the best of me and, not to mention lots of set backs with floods, lost molds, stolen parts and dishonest workers. Ultimately, the fault lies with me and no one else, so I deeply apologize things got so badly out of hand.

Please reach out to me via email at [email protected] to ask for a refund or discuss any other concern you have.

Everyone who has ever ordered from me has either gotten product or refund.

I may be late, but I always reply to all emails.

I paid for the cost of that garbage you cast for me, I was not going to pay for something that was not usable. You even asked for nothing more then cost, so why lie?[/QUOTE]

There is no IF about it, anyone who wants a refund is getting one.
