Well at least Metroplex is willing to tell Windblade how it is, even if his inclusion makes no sense.

And now Megatron can run up walls. Seems legit.

Credit where it's due Starscream's voice actor does make a good screamer. :3

Although I question how one can hold a being composed of energy I'll let it slide because Metroplex crushing Cons with his fist never gets old.

I think MMC's Cynicus remold (the Megatron version) just gained new purpose.

Megatron is still best character. No contest.

So Combiners are now their own species? Okay...

Is it me or did it look like Victorion was eating the Enigma? How many calories does it have?

Okay show, you didn't earn that sequel hook, there was no need to do that.

Well... I guess if you are willing to look at the ideas over the execution it's an alright origin story for Windblade, it's different but ends with her in the usual role.
Granted, she sort of was the whole reason the Combiner Wars started here, but whatever.

Ciao CW, you were a lot of things, but never what we expected.

 

Now that I've seen the whole thing i can firmly say that this "Combiner Wars" (which it hardly was to begin with) was FUCKING STUPID.
I feel insulted actually that this was supposed to be an attempt at "mature storytelling for adult fans" it reads like bad fanfiction written by someone who gave no fucks whatsoever.

Also, LOL the "Combiners" They weren't even treated as such, they were just all really big individual characters. They weren't even actually THAT BIG. Youknow the actual REASON combiners are an issue, GIANT MINDLESS WEAPONS. But no they could talk and think like anyone else. What the fuck was the supposed threat they even held?

The ONLY thing a genuinely liked was megatron. Every time he showed up he was ACTUALLY fantastic but that hardly makes it better.

Also everything was totally and completely Windblade's fault to begin with. You shouldn't get praised fro cleaning up your own messes.

 

My eyes hurt. My brain hurt. Plz help me. I can't tell you how I hate this "adult" show. Wasted money.

Decent ending to an ok series but looks like there will be a follow up series to CW based on the ending. Also recently heard on a TF podcast John Bailey, the voice of OP couldn't confirm or deny the fact that there would be more. But by him being silent, it was a good bet there would be a follow up. And the sub title is called prime wars trilogy...

I loved the art style in this series. LOVED it. And old man Megatron, totally the highlight. The story made little to no sense, especially at the end with the Enigma basically becoming a combiner Matrix. Tosh. But pretty tosh.

Is this series a different timeline on its own? Having a hard time placing it anywhere.

All in all, it was a pretty weak "series". The title was a bit inaccurate and the cast was sparse. If this was test footage for a series proposal, I would tolerate it a bit more, but in itself nothing I will revisit.

 

But it's not November 9th yet.

The only thing I liked in there was Megatron, but everything else was just awful.

It also never earned the right to have a sequel. It wasn't even a Combiner War but a Combiner Scuffle.

So whatever happened to that Press Release Hasbro put out that stated one of the rules of the show was that combiners had to fight each other in every episode? Or are they just counting SuperScreamer as a Combiner for the last 3 episodes.

If a sequel does happen, so Metroplex Fights Ft.Max who fits Trypticon?

 

The writing is just so clunky and awkward, it makes it hard to get invested in anything going on.

Man, this show bombed. They had the potential to make something amazing and they made... this. Which was a train wreck from day one.

I blame Machinima. The voice actors may not have been the best choices but they were doing the best with the material they were given. They tried, but at the end of the day it's like polishing a turd.

The most insulting thing about this show is because it failed so miserably, we're never going to get another "adult" Transformers series ever again. So kiss the prospect of getting a direct-to-video movie of MTMTE goodbye, folks.

 

Good lord the voice for Metroplex is just awful. I know he was probably directed that way but the voice actor couldn't sound less into his part.

And they'll blame the lack of interest on the audience instead of the weak, half assed effort they put into this mini series.

I groaned out loud when Megatron said, "I've always been more than meets the eye." Who writes this crap??? I know, it was probably some executive at Hasbro probably who thought it would be cute to put that in. For that, they should've been fired on the spot.
