You would be silly not to buy this toy at this price. I wish I knew about the sale. Tfsource didn't notify me in their newsletter. Is there anyway to get them to add "sales" to their newsletter options?

Man, how much FP stuff is TFSource sitting on? Seems like they invested heavily into a bunch of product that doesn't seem to be selling, hence the giant discounts.

 

They bring the prices back up after each sale though. Wish they would keep the price low.

 

Snagged one. 40 bucks is too good to pass up.

This is a tempting deal. It's a pity that that I already have a Master V.
I missed out on the sale on Knight.
Hoping that TFSource eventually does another sale on that one.

 

Funny thing is this weekend sale is for Code, MADLAW and Quake... all three items Hasbro is releasing now or soon. A Legends Shockwave, a Deluxe Chromedome, and the leaks from the Transmissions podcast say a Leader Quickswitch is coming!

 

Yeah, I had to hop in on this, and I'm right there with you Scaleface. I missed Sixknight too and am waiting for that sale to pop back up.

 

I had one and sold it a year ago. At $40 I'm tempted as hell to pick it up again.

 

This dude went on sale as soon as he was released almost. I don't know why, thought he would have been more popular. I have both Knight and this and they are awesome

 

I want a Knight. I have a feeling though that The Quickswitch will be a recolour of Sixshot...

 

I have madlaw and I would not recommend him.

He's quality plastic but I just find his various modes except for bot, very uninspired, boring, and a bit of a stretch in many of the modes. I didn't find the transformations very interesting or original either just alot of flipping it over, fold out a wing or foot, etc. Not to detract from anyone who loves this guy...

I'd just wouldn't recommend personally....

 

TFS knows that the window for these is closing rapidly, is my guess. Less and less people are willing to spend big bucks when there is a cheaper alternative available.

 

Thats how Ive always felt about this mold from reviews. It just looks really boring. Even the Bot mode doesnt do anything for me with those huge honking knee pads. The boat, drill, space ship, gun... All look pretty lame. $40 is still way too high to pique my interest

Yeah same here. I had the G1 and really liked it, but for some reason Madlaw just doesn't tick my boxes enough. Even for 40 bucks...

 

I wonder, is TFSource taking a loss dropping all these FP products to $40, or is the 3P mark-up truly that outrageous? I imagine at the worst, they are selling this stuff for cost, but I can't imagine TFS keeps marking this stuff so low that they take a loss every single weekend.

I also can't believe that at $63 off, the figure still doesn't sell out. I think that surprises me more than anything, at $40 they still can't get complete sellouts. I assumed you mark any half way decent 3P figure for 63% off and it would fly out the door.
