So I've skipped through parts of this thread, but at 79 pages there's a lot of backlog. So can someone give me a quick lowdown on preventing the breakage with this mold? I don't plan on transforming my Gauntlet or anything anytime soon, but better to address it now.

 

It seems to be only Gauntlet that has problems with many of them breaking at the thigh swivel. There isn't really a particular way to prevent breakage other than just never transforming it or posing it. That doesn't mean its guaranteed to break, just that there are some that will break with very minimal handling. Here's my previous post on the matter. I went through three of these guys altogether (two originally and one that I found cheap later on) and a set of replacement legs, every one of them broke in the same place.

 

You could take preventive measures like I did. I trimmwd the joints and have not had an issue.

 

Hey I recently got these guys and was wondering, is there anyone who is making a "battle damaged" head for Piston to make him a little more IDW accurate? If I missed it in an earlier post I'm sorry but I couldn't find anything in my searches.

 

Mech Ideas need to reissue Gauntlet, Apex, and Geminis STAT!

 

Just took my Gaunlet out of the box and boom the same problem, broken peg. I doubt I can fix this because the broken peg is really jammed in the leg.

 

Where can I find replacements?

 

Its honestly depressing that I cannot find Gauntlet anywhere... I missed out on a definitive Ironfist and Crankcase.
