Oh Wheeljack, such an un-painted mess, but lots of potential. I added a bunch of black, some gunmetal, and some silver, then used a black and gray Graphix marker for the panel lines.

Also gave him a gun from a gundam (Red Warrior 1/144 weapon with a new handle)

Vehicle mode didn't need much, I decided I liked the black spoiler so I added some black to make it look more intentional

and clear red over silver for the tail lights

This is a HELL of an improvement upon a very bland figure. This improves his looks to me 1000%. Fantastic work! :D

Very nice work and a big improvement. This would be a decent toy if it wasn't for all that visibly hollow space in the legs. That's the kind of thing I expect to see in a KO.

    Nice.

How did you paint the forearms so cleanly?

I lightly sanded the arms, then brushed on 3 thin coats of Tamiya Black. I ended up waiting a couple weeks before brushing on some Pledge, then let it sit another week before putting him back together. I've transformed him a few times and haven't had any rubbing issues yet :D

    Wow.

It's the part up against the forearm panels and the fists that came out so clean.

How did you not get any on there? lol

Ohh! For that part I had initially made a bit of a mess, but I used a sharp exacto blade to lightly scrape away the excess paint. I accidentally scraped away too much in a couple spots and went back to touch up with a fine brush.
