My alliance is hovering around the 200 overall mark. I've been in the top 10 so far, finally ran out of cells and was #5. We're probably not going to get 3 star Magnus unless they recruit some ringers.

 

I have no idea man. They probably bought the 500 cell bundles

I have been taking it slow and steady. Havent spent much, but should end the first 24 hrs with 8000 pts

 

The problem is it will be hard, maybe impossible, to hire ringers for this kind of event. Everyone was helping each other last event, but for this one, anyone who left their alliance to help out another would be cheating themselves out of the big prize, and screwing over their team by helping the direct competition.

 

Has anyone else had a lot of Cybercoins just disappear recently?

The first time it happened, I thought i must have clicked to skip an upgrade accidentally... but then a couple of minutes ago I just had another 2000 coins vanish, but upgraded \ skipped nothing.

Insane. And cutthroat. A bunch of guys in my Decepticon alliance left without saying anything and joined other alliances 12 hours in. We were top 80 last time but won't be this time.

 

And that's the whole point. They want you to spend as much as you can, which is why only the top 80 alliances are going to get rewards that are worth anything. Everyone else will get junk premium crystals that will be almost worthless because of the high bot duplication rate. Man, reminds me of the days of Mobage.

 

I'm still waiting for them to introduce the individual alliance event again. They keep saying they will do that, but every week is an alliance event.

I don't think they can release any new characters as epic as Ultra magnus and Galvatron in the future, so maybe we will have an easier event next week

This event is too insane for me. I'm at 13k points now.

 

High duplication rate is what makes investing real money into this game a rip off. The stuff you get instead of the duplicates is token. The business practise with IAPs in this game is what gives IAPs in general a bad name. Before I thought "okay, I'll invest in your game because I like it", but I expect value for money. Instead it's sharp business practise. So it's free play only for me now.

 

It's really crazy that this event is so high profile that you MUST have a strong enough alliance to even dream of getting Magnus. I was part of two or three alliance and missed out on all of the characters before creating my own. I have 30 people on there and only 6 of us are very active. I booted the 0 contributors but man is it hard to get good help.

 

Hey all, looking for an active Decepticon alliance. Just got to HQ 10 (maxed out defence, etc except walls at HQ 9). During events I'm almost always in the top 5 of my current alliance, right now at 4000 points for this event. Looking to move to a different alliance since a lot of our top guys have jumped ship over the last couple of events.

 

Cyclonus is basically powerglide

I'm not too keen on Hotspot either. No one's gonna bust their ass for these two.

They might revert back to individual event for them.

This weekend's event is the epic one. Even 6-80th is ultra competive. My alliance Wreckers strolled the Strafe one, but they arent even top 100 for this one.

I must say, it's rather fun being in a top 5 alliance battle. There is a certain thrill in being in a race for top 5. So far, i've spent on an 11k coin + 14k spark bundle, and one of the useless Saviour bundles.

But the other top guys have gotten multiple 500 fuel cell bundles and are just burning through them. Pretty nuts.

If you think about it, there only going to be 40 or 80 people with 4* megatrons out there, and probably 120 people with the 4* Ultra Magnus.

So that's whats driving these guys

 

Scores are much much higher for this event than Strafe's.
