Best Buy will have very limited quantities (10 per store) of some "Legends" figures to be given way with the purchase of Transformers: The Game. You can see more about it on at BestBuy.com and then look at the weekly ad.

 

Cool. I was wandering when we would see something official about this. Don't you mean Legends figure, since that is what is pictured, and it doesn't say anything about "Heroes".

 

K-Mart has ad in Sunday circular for both DS versions at $19.99 each, available June 26th.

And don't forget Toys R US has a buy 2 DS games get one free deal this week. i'm gonna get both TF games there and some other game, then go to gamestop for the 360 collectors edition, as I understand no one else will have that.

 

For the record, I bought the PSP version of the game a couple days ago, and despite my love for TFs, it is just HORRIBLE. I hope the console versions are better.

 

Games based on movies are notorious for being really really bad. The only exception I can think of is the Chronicles of Riddick - that game was actually pretty good. Here's hoping that the console versions will turn out to be somewhat okay.

I think Target has some sort of Robovision thing where you can unlock g1 characters or something. Might as well just get it there. I don't need more non movie legends.

 

Yeah. It does say minimum. That means they'll have AT LEAST 10 per store, not ONLY 10 per store.

BK toys come with a $5 off coupn for DS games at Best Buy. If you take that in with the Circuit City or KMart ad for $19.99 for the DS games, you can get them for $15 each. If only the BB here would release them already.

 

It's so nice to see this thread front paged. When I posted this info way earlier in the week, my thread gets closed because its old news and someone else posted this in the gaming section where nobody looks.   

 

Well, they match the ads price of 19.99, and with the $5 coupon, it's only $15.

 

I tried that today and the guy wouldn't do it. I didn't feel like taking the time to press the matter and I don't have a DS yet anyway, so I'll try again later at a different store or at least with a different clerk, but I'm not expecting it to be any different. Hopefully I'll be pleasantly surprised.

 

Oh didn't know that! I just pre-ordered my Super sexy Master Chiefy Halo 3 there and didn't even see anything about a special version of the Transformer game. What's the difference with the collectors edition?
