thank goodness it has those two features at least, because otherwise literally no one would be able to tell who this bot is supposed to be.

When is this guys supposed to drop? I wouldn't mind checking out more reviews...

Personally, I'm going to see what DX9's Mightron feels like in hand first. I already have Apollyon and while I think he makes a bad-ass Megatron, he always feels like a bit fragile so I don't mess with him much. That's a ME thing and not his fault.

I've been happy with pretty much all my DX9 stuff, so I'm going to see how theirs turns out.

Although this probably isn't the place for it - my recent Hasbro purchases of CW Ultra Magnus, Skylinx, Onslaught, and a bunch more have all been pretty disappointing. The plastic feels so cheap, the panels so hollow the paint so sparse. I feel like I am holding a chinatown KO when I pick up the current Hasbro stuff and it's not like it's amazingly cheap anymore either!

CW Ultra Magnus cost me about $50. When I compare that to the $119 DX9 Mightron, it's hard not to love 3P.

His entire center mass from waist to torso to head is all G1.

Exaggeration. My point was it is far from what most people want out of a proper g1 megs and is a deeply flawed figure due to its bony legs, lack of waist swivel, wrist swivel, weirdly positioned shoulder joints and very limited hip joints. By mp standards it is non-comparable its so weak in terms of design and engineering.

It may be a large figure but in every other sense of "being an mp" it leaves a lot to be desired. Having a somewhat g1 torso and head is not enough to make up for those deep flaws.

This is probably beyond my skill level but I tried Marvel Megs :lol

I actually don't really have any attachment to the Marvel versions of the characters (I'm a Sunbow girl all the way :) ), but it was fun to do anyway.

My only real gripe with this figure is the pointer finger can't actually point! Same with MP10, which is the main reason I purchased the KFC hands for prime. I wonder if a set of the KFC seeker hands could be modified to fit good ol' despo?

    That's pretty cool.
Has anyone ever made a comic book Megatron? Like all the 1st G1 guys, 3 versions debuted at the same time (TV, comic and toy), and they are all equally valid, but I don't know of any toy of this look. I wonder if anyone will ever see the need in the market to produce this kind of repaint. Nice digibash though, that's is certainly him.

    Also.....

Toyworld made a comic variant of their Hegemon figure. That's the only one I can think of.

Liking this more and more. I have Apollyon and was leaning towards buying Mightron but now I feel like I'll wind up with all 3.
