Is there more to the picture than what we can see? There appears to be a 'regular' colored Scorponok underneath the website's watermark in the first pic.

    Thank you

Now my mind wonders, "where is this wonderful prototype now?". If it still exists, it could possibly be worth as much as a G2 Defensor, or more. I hope Iron Factory does a version of Lord Scorpion in these colours.

There's no Gold Plastic on it, so I'd hope for none. It does look a little like Skyquake but it looks much more like AM Thundercracker to me. Those wacky, colour blind Europeans!

This actually looks pretty sharp, but then again it is one of the best designs of all time (except the Headmaster size issue). He will look good in almost any coherent color scheme.

You CAN! I mean... look at the RID Scorponok toy... I joked previously that he has Roadbuster's colors, but now...? Orange, brown, and grey? WOW. Maybe Hasbro knew something and intended that color scheme as a hommage to a thing only they knew about? Mind officially blown if that is true.

    THIS! :D
    And THIS.
Come on... :rolleyes2  This is as coincidental as it gets.

Maybe Hasbro chose natural scorpion colors?  But brighter brown because they think black will not appeal to children (too dark) - this is likely the thought process.

I say make it LOUDER! :D  My eyes are burning...

Looks dope. Nice colour scheme worthy of G1 but of course scorponok already has a colour scheme.

You know, for all the years I'd been obsessed with Car Robots, I'd never thought of that. Just needs a little more orange and he'd be perfect.

Although I'm used to it, I think the colours on the original are more garish and worthy of G2 than this one.
I mean - the original is purple green and neon orange. This new found version is much more tame, I feel. Although I guess he has that big green gun going for him.

That has to be where the not-Scorponok from the Micromaster ad got his colours. The colours aren't 100% in the right places, but neither are half the rest of animated Transformerdom's hues. It doesn't seem implausible that he might have been proposed as a Micromaster base in the late eighties.

    Good find!

This color scheme reminds me of Unicron.
