Seems random but I guess TT wanted to get their use out of the molds...would still like to see a Decepticon Sixwing set offered in the Micromasters reissue colors

 

I would have actually liked that more! just the sheer camp of it.

 

Honestly, this might be the first thing I import in years. Last thing was AM Wheeljack. Love the colors in this set, seriously. It just... It works, man.

 

This thing is bananas and I fucking love it because I am insane.

 

So, megatron just got some reject g2 transformers, y'know.


Still a bit outdated, but that neon is kickass.

 

Other than the Femme Megatron's name,all the other names sound more Autobot than Decepticon.

This thing looks like something out of G2. The ONLY thing I cannot decide about this thing....... Is she more Skittles or more Starburst?

I'll likely be picking this up much later because I am more interested in Takara's take on UW Liokaiser.

 

So what youre telling me is there're FIVE new female Decepticons? I need this set just on that alone. That and I like the colors more then Victorion.

 

Lookin good. Definitely getting a female vibe from her which I'm not getting from Victorion. The black and 'colors' contrast works, and if I've got the money burning a hole in my bank acct, I'd bite.

 

Is she a Megatron's Ex?

 

This mold set never appealed to me, and it still doesn't. But hey, we've got 5 new female Decepticons, so that's pretty cool, if if I'm not interested.

Daaamn, I'm having some serious childhood flashbacks from that colour scheme. It reminds me of the motorcycle ads and the Paul Reed Smith Metal guitars from the mid-80's. In a good way.

I like the idea behind her limbs names, but those are just as forgettable as the names for Victorion's limbs. I definitely want a female Decepticon combiner but despite that I'll probably have to pass.

 

Something else I don't think IDW touched on enough in CW was what constitutes any given combiner's consciousness.

Example: Scattorshot on his own is apparently Betatron. But he's Computron once combined with the rest of the Technobots.

So if you combined Pyra Magna with four male limbs...is she still Victorion? Is she someone else? That's probably another example of gender fluidity given IDW's treatment of how a combiner's personality comes together.

I was holding out CW Victorion to see if Takara was doing to improve upon that set. After seeing this crap, I am more than happy with CW Victorion and will purchase that set after I recover from UW Computron.
