I'm glad you pointed out that about Doublecross' robot mode feet so comprehensively, because I came here to give it some praise. As anyone familiar with just about every G1 beast mode that stands on four legs would know, a lot of that usually just sits on the robot mode legs as extraneous kibble. I really like how that all folds neatly enough into a pod that folds down to be a robot mode foot. Just maybe, between the other Monsterbots, Deceptocon Headmaster Juniors and a few of their as yet unrepresented combiner teams, we might see this feature again.

Still, as Repugnus was one of a handful of G1 Transformers I had as a child, I won't get my hopes too high, but imagination does aid patience.
And hey, even Brawn isn't getting just a Titan Master! :D

I'm glad they're doing all of these lesser known characters that I like. Hasbro... the Monsterbots have been in the comics.. keep em coming!! ;)  Still confused why they haven't done Classic Dinobots though. They're in the comics, they've been in the games... Bayformer versions even. Would still like Terrorcons and Predacons, even if they don't combine (but that would be silly)

He'll probably be a retool into Octane more than likely.

with Star Convoy and Octane almost assuredly on deck, i'd imagine a Black Convoy/Scourge/Nemesis Prime version may be out a ways, or aConvention or Takara Exclusive...

Wait, DC is an autobot? That is weird to me (a comment in the original faction selection not on this particular release.)

Probably because he's so similar to Hun-Gurr in terms of alt-mode and coloration.

    Hush you.

I so want this figure. Can't wait to see how Clobber likes using it, but will probably keep the normal TM on it.

Damn, it's about time the long-forgotten Monsterbots got some love. Doublecross looks amazing.

He and the two other Monsterbots were basically like the Dinobots but messier.

Part of it is because there were *very* few Autobot animal Transformers in G1 (at least that I can remember) so most people probably default to thinking any of them are Decepticons.

Doubly so for me, who grew up during Beast Wars and defaults to assuming any insect or reptilian creature is likely a Decepticon/Predacon.

    No wrist swivels on Doublecross.

They should have done a new version of Grotusque first with Fangry as his remold.

One or two minor swaps to head and limbs on Skullcruncher would make a good Grotusque, looking at him.

I was thinking the same; he even has the same leg spikes that Skullcruncher does and they end up in pretty much the same spot in alt mode

It's great that they're making my favourite Monsterbot into a Headmaster! He just made it past Mindwipe and Convobat on top of my most wanted TR Deluxes list.
