So its been approx. one month since these were supposed to start shipping. Anyone have any updates?

I was told that mine is slated to ship at the end of August. So we should have our figures by the end of the first week of September at the latest, I guess.

I'm trying to get excited, but I just bought TR Rewind and there's a snazzy, new 3P Rewind coming out. If I don't get a tracking number by August 31, I'm just going to ask for a refund. Like I said before, I certainly want Trivia, but I mainly bought him to support Nonnef's future projects. Now that the Whirl kit is dead, I don't see Nonnef producing very much beyond internal parts. And that's pretty much what Shapeways is there for.

 

Still very excited for this. I like the Titans Return toy and that other upcoming Rewind looks nice, but this one looks so dead-on to the comic and the transformation is so brilliantly simple that it's going to be hard to beat. And then there's the fact that I just buy any and all Rewind toys anyway. :3

Anyway, from my communications with Nonnef I gather that he's just as eager as we are to have this project out the door and behind him. Sounds like it's been a very expensive and grueling figure to get to the finished stage. I commend him for not just dropping it, because I probably would have.

 

I would have also, and I have no idea why he didn't. He told me he's producing this figure at a loss right out of the gate

 

Hold up now. What's this new Rewind that everyone is talking about?

Huh. That looks pretty good actually. I'd wait to see more pictures and reviews but it's a good looking Rewind. I do have the Shapeways kit for Trivia but if this gets positive reviews I may pick it up.

 

Sorry, that's my fault! I just thought it'd be better to have a grouped thread, until the figures get further in development. Feel free to set up separate threads though, and I apologise for any confusion I've caused.  

 

The way you did it makes perfect sense, especially since we don't know much about everything shown there. Maybe mods can add some character names in the thread title or something.

 

Are folks getting shipping notices? I haven't received anything of the sort as of yet.

 

I've certainly got plans to change that, if that's the impression you've got of his offerings.

Nope! But that's what Nonnef said to me back in July when I emailed him; I actually got the timetable a little messed-up:

"Hey XXXXX!

Got that updated for you. Still have you down for one black Trivia with black shins (#XXXXXXX). He's moved into shipping so you should have him in hand by the end of Aug.
Let me know your thoughts on him when he shows up!"

.. So, I should definitely be seeing him this week-- possibly even tomorrow.

I sent an Email with my order info attached asking for a refund. I can't be bothered to wait any further. The silence is criminal.

 

No idea why they all do that  . Something goes wrong/something pops up, and these people who have w pretty good rep around here for selling stuff they make, suddenly go into silent mode. Dr. K did the same thing and hasn't posted here in months sadly.

 

To recap, since the reset deleted a lot of remarks: Nonnef informed several of us that half the Trivia orders shipped out to us, and should have arrived by the end of August. None of that happened, nobody got their order, and people are concerned that we've been swindled.
