Y'know, I was browsing on Amazon and came across the various Resident Evil remasters that were $20 apiece.

FoC remastered? A much smaller game than RE? $40-$50

I knew Activision was bad, but when you out-gouge CAPCOM, that's something.

Ultimate alliance 1+2 are around the range of the $40-50 mark.

and their shitty Ghostbusters game was around the same..

Activitson can suck my left nut.

All said, FOC on PS4 looks absolutely gorgeous. I was running my 360 version alongside and switching my TV between the two and the picture is so crisp! And the metal textures and reflections look amazing.

My step dad walked into the room while I was playing and was talking about how good the graphics looked. Game runs fine, as well. Havent encountered any lag or dips in framerate or anything [thus far!]. Shame about the price, but this game looks amazing! Worth a pick up if it ever gets a little price cut

Activision is one of the biggest publishers. Rather than let High Moon make a sequel they reduced their size because they're idiots and put them on ports as if they were being punished. Now Activision seems to care about are cheap cash-ins like Korra, TF Devastation, TMNT, Ghostbusters etc. And while Devastation might have been okay, it was likely developed by a small staff since Platinum are working on Scalebound too. Thank god they've lost the licence to Marvel games; Insomniac's Spider-Man looks great so far.

When will Activision's rights to TF games expire? They acquired it 10 years ago.

Like their rights to Aliens, it seems never-ending. *sighs*

For anyone who thinks this is over priced, I have to point out that the pricing is in-line with Activision's other Transformer games in the playstation store...

    --Currently--
    Transformers Devastation $40
Fall of Cybertron (all DLC edition) $50
Rise of the Dark Spark (all DLC edition) $60

This is exactly why digital media SUCKS. Activision keeps a tight hold on the Transformers property. Like I said before, it was a LONG time before they finally discounted the PS3 version.

The remastered graphics are really impressive. They clearly put some effort into this release, and it shows.

My only complaint about this game is due to it having the old mp colors I can't play as an accurate Ultra Magnus or G1 cartoon Swoop.

And yes all dlc is included.

That doesn't change how expensive this is. I think you may of missed the hint at Activision is overpriced as all f00k (be it for whatever reason).

This is just as overpriced as their $50 crappy ghostbusters game that is a carbon copy of one that came years before that was $15. Also this is a 4 year old game and non of the others you listed are, although ROTDS is starting to get up in age. Anyway the only way this would be worth the price is if it came bundled with WFC and included all dlc for that too, and even then it would still be $10 to much.

Guys I didn't say it wasn't expensive, I just pointed out that the pricing is in-line with their other Transformer games. Being "4 years old" doesn't matter to Activision. I already told you that they don't discount based on age alone. PS3 FoC didn't come down in price digitally for a long time, even though you could buy that sucker for 20 bucks at gamestop. Devastation is slightly discounted because it was less financial successful compared to their other TF games (PS4 Devastation sold half as many units as PS3 FoC).

So love it or hate it, it's not a price they just pulled out of their ass. I've said for a long time that the Activision pricing structure SUCKS. I would have loved to see FoC make it into PS Plus back when it wasn't all Indie games. But this is what happens when people don't speak out against the system and support stupid s**t like "I'm going all digital!"

It's arrogance from their behalf. The sad part is, they're in a very good position to pull it off since they're the only company currently licensed to release TF games for PC/Consoles via digital means (well, in addition to digital means).

It's the same garbage they pulled with their Aliens franchise games, most of which were crappy to begin with and they still demanded higher, premium, pricing for the them.

I just got a ps4, before that, the newest system I had was a ps2. I am perfectly happy paying a high price to own what I consider to be one of the best TF games ever made for the first time.

I know I've mentioned it before, but also, while digging on steam, apparently since DLC is included, MP works too...-_-" which is problematic because PC multiplayer does not work...at all. Yet now newcomers can play MP on new systems. and im not going to shell out 400 bucks for a new system ad a game i already have just for one feature that i just need fixed

the pricing doesn't bother that much because I live in singapore and the prices on items sold by retailers are overpriced to begin with(get back to that later) due to inflation, import rates etc. War for Cybertron was the very first game i played ever, I was 9, and i fell in love with it.When i heard a sequel was coming out i got so hyped because i waited 2 years for another tf game(eternity in kid timeXD) and i saved my allowance just to buy it during the chinese new year of 2013.If i recall correctly, in the shops they were selling it (standard edition) for 72$ (50usd) so you get my drift(hehe)...So the fact that the game is selling for $55 on the PSstore and with the DLCs is like a dream come true considering whilst i was playing the multiplayer in kind of a "race to prime 100 level(highest you can go)" style for the grimlock dino head in mp,my ps3 gave 'the yellow light of death' and i could not turn it on and play for more than 5 mins each time before crashing(how my ac4 file got corrupted while i was almost reaching the 100% mark but that's a story for another time).I never got to play mp since that incident and that actually pissed me off.Hearing it coming to ps4 was like my death wish so i'm just happy to play it w/o the crashes and frame-rate drops. The moments when my system crashes while still in load screen or cutscenes or even in campaign or mp really irritated me so to hear that the graphics are slightly better(they were already good to begin with) is amazing to hear. It's not cheap by any means but considering the amount i paid way back then compared to now and the infuriating experience i had with the game and my ps3,I'v got nothing to complain about:)
