1. Obvious looping of animation in a 5 minute episode is just lazy.
2. Terrible Frame Rate.
3. OptiMushed Prime sounds like a bad Sean Connery impersonation impersonating Optimus Prime.
4. Windblade is mad about Cybertronians killing things so her solution is to kill things?
5. Maybe the faceplate that fell off Windblade in the first episode was supposed to stay on. If they had kept it on, the terrible lip syncing wouldn't be so obvious.

I want to stop watching, but it is such a train wreck that I just keep going back.

I've watched all three on YouTube, and I just posted a link above for episode 3 which I watched (and no, I'm not in North America). They should all be on Machinima's YouTube channel.

You and me both. It's hilarious just how bad this is, and there's no good reason it has to be like this (budget is not an argument because there are plenty of things they could have done to bring down the budget, such as 2D animation instead of shitty, half-assed CGI).

 

I'm in America and don't use proxy, so youtube isn't an option for me. TCJJ, any way you could add these to your rescue bots thread?

 

Machinima's Youtube channel doesn't help. You might be outside of North America, but that doesn't mean it's viewable everywhere. Like here in Japan. We are region locked out. Although I kind of get it. If I made this, I wouldn't want people in the land of good animation to be watching and judging it, either.

Actually, half-ass CG animation is much cheaper than having artists draw every frame in 2D.

 

I've just watched Episode 3. It could do with some improvement but I've seen worse. At least I'm a bit more interested now than I was back during the first episode.

 

Worse Transformers? Where? And don't say Energon, because I call BS on that.

 

This episode wasn't too bad. It had less talking and more action!  

 

These are all acturate points. I'm just glad I got here before all the "Duh, I don't get all the hate" comments filter in.

It's like they tried to write it like an anime, but a really bad one.

I know one problem with this, they are trying to be adult like without actually knowing how to make sense of these problems. I now know why this show is hated as much as it is.

I think I COULD make a better piece of TF media, honestly. A lot of people here could.

 

Bailey's performance was good, but I feel like the effects they put over his voice really took away from it.

I still don't like edgelord Windblade, and how within the span of five minutes she went from trying to kill Optimus to allying with him for like, no real reason.

And what has to kill this series most of all for me is the lack of exposition. We're now three episodes in and we still have no idea why anything is happening. They haven't explained the Enigma of Combination, they haven't explained why the combiners are fighting, they haven't explained the whole Caminus situation, it's like they expect us as the audience to either already know or not care. And one should never assume things about their audience like that.

I still can't believe it took a year and a half to produce this... thing.

 

you must not of seen my post in the other thread when i noticed it was menasor was the one that yell "zero", as well as computron sending a distress signal at the end of episode one.

and i'm used to watching one episode deaths. i watched samurai jack....
