I think I know why Hasbro buried this on a streaming channel no one had heard of: embarrassment.

 

ha! told you computron wasn't truely dead! and optimus pwn'd windblade! i still wanted the super saiyan aura added to windblade at that one part.

when windblade lifted up optimus and it showed the moon/thing in the background, i thought it was cybertron and said "how'd she get him that high?"

good show! i can definitely see the anime inspiration....

 

I'm betting the way this ended Megatron's coming back in the next episode.

Really like the voice for Optimus Prime in this series, if they had to do talking at least they did it while fighting. I just like the fight in this one, show how OP Prime is and show that there are some fights Windblade can't win.

 

I've been fairly critical of this "series". That being said, this "episode" was actually good. (Quotes are used because their trailers are half as long as the episodes. )

A lot of people have been complaining about the animation and a lot of it probably has to do with the site that shows this. Watching this time had very little choppiness.

 

Wow, another dumpster fire. Seriously, who are these characters? I'm glad some of you dug this "episode," but I'm drifting further from wanting to even watch this show with passing interest.

 

So, episode three and they still haven't given an explanation to what the Enigma of Combination is. I assume it's relying on the thought that the viewer has read the IDW series.

 

Told who? Most were just mad at the way both combiners went out in that first ep. and OP fighting Arce....I mean Windblade just adds to lameness of this show.

 

Wingblade is so dramatic, she acts like she is not a transformer her self,she then complains how she hates war and fighting but yet isnt fighting and killing what she does. The voice acting for prime sucks, there is no emotion in his voice whats so ever. Wingblades voice acting is deccent but i now kinda hate her character. " a show for the fans" huh? its like hasbro was like " here yall go long time dedicated fans of our best franchise, this is all yall get, fuck yall" talk about making something for the fans. I cant say this episode was terrible but it was not anything special AT ALL.

I see this Windblade as a sort of CW Prowl type role

 

I've been reviewing this show on my youtube channel. I give each episode a few things in its favor to distract from the mess that it is. This episode though. It broke something. Something inside me. I screamed. I yelled. I raged. This....was the worst episode of them all...Even Jon Bailey could not save it. I am ashamed to say that as he is such a great guy and voice actor.

 

I think this whole episode would of worked out just as well if it was a caption on a picture.

 

I think the character models looks great...

So with those art assets available, my hope is that this "series" is just a prototype for (hopefully) better things to come... better animation, better sound effects, better voice-work, and better scene direction. But I'm not holding my breath.

 

So when will the episode come out?

 

I'm glad that Optimus beated the crap out of Windbitch.

 

There was slightly more direction in this episode... thank Primus that the two actually had a conversation about their intentions and motivations while fighting! How novel!

That said, Windblade's complaints about Cybertronians fighting ring a bit hollow. They are the words of comics Windblade - though angrier - but this Windblade has been shown and implied to be much more eager to attack and kill than the comics' Cityspeaker. Hypocritical much?

Windblade and Optimus' duel once again shows how Machinima leans on looping animation as a crutch to fill time - at least this time it was in the service of dialogue, and not just to push the episode to the five minute mark.

Jon Bailey does a moderate job of imitating Peter Cullen, but he doesn't seem to be able to inflect the voice with emotion, like Cullen does. In the movies, in TF: Prime, Cullen lends actual sadness to Optimus' voice that I miss here.

Optimus' surprise at the Enigma being on display in the hands of the Council comes off as quite ridiculous after seeing how exposed it is last episode.

Who IS this person? Not the worst animation I've ever seen, visually or audibly. Buuuut....

... I cause combinations?

I have to say, it's an improvement over the other two... but it's still not very good. There's some actual story there this time, but it still started in the middle of nowhere in the first episode, so if you're not up-to-date on the comics (like myself) or just don't read them, you probably won't have a clue what's going on.

At least the framerate was marginally better. It didn't make me nauseous this time. It's still bad though, and the voice acting is garbage.

Oh, and I hate Windblade. I mean, I hated her before, but now I hate her. What, does she just want to kill everyone now? Stupid, whiny Mary Sue.

 

Is anyone torrenting this series? I can't be bothered with go90, and I collect TF media.
