Eh? We've known how big he was on reveal. Loads of pics on op with a fair few comparisons.

That being said he looks bigger to me.

 

I would buy this if the feet were grey, and the face had a smirk instead of being all stoic.

 

Gotta agree with the complaints about the face. And yes, faces do matter. I liked the previous ones. He should at least look like the smart ass is he is.

 

Looks like a very fun toy from the pics. Looking forward to seing video reviews of this, should be entertaining.

The face looks like TJ Omega. I don't know why...

But it doesn't look like Springer.

The rest is pretty cool. Especially the alt modes.

 

I want to love this guy but that face just isn't Springer. I think the size is great and helps blend in Magnus who is too big. Movie cast is coming along nicely to the point where I should only be missing Kup and Arcee by Christmas.

 

The face isn't terrible. I've bought figures with far worse.

 

I think if theyy broadened the nose it would be just fine.

 

I'd imagine at this point it's too late to change. Maybe another option with their next release? *cough* Kup *cough*

I'm hoping that bash with grey feet and yellow interior is a possible change too but if this is really coming next month then again, it's probably too late as it'll be hitting mass production.

 

This guy is just proportioned weirdly. His legs from the gray boots down to the toes are all wrong. Too large and clumpy, yellow feet instead of gray. The fins on the tail in helicopter mode should be back towards the tail more. The sword is too.. fat. The face is not Springer-esque. A smirk would be better. He is overall, a little too chunky. I am inclined to wait and see the changes that FT will make to their designs. They are going to benefit from UT and TW and that other company all coming out with their versions so that they can make improvements to their own.

 

Looking back at the pics on a big monitor instead of a phone I'm digging how he looks with Magnus. Arguably a bit too tall but they share that same chunky aesthetic and it really works. For me anyway. With a suitably sized white backed Autobrand he'll look awesome.

 

And get rid of the chin strap face frame

 

There's obviously some very clever engineering going on there, but unfortunately the bot mode has an overly anime chibi look/aesthetic to it, and really doesn't match the MP style at all.

 

I'm a bit fifty/ fifty on the face... kinda like it, but not sure. Like TB says, I've seen worse.

The alt' modes look amazing, no doubt. 'Bot mode is possibly the best I have seen from UT thus far (based on pics)...

...and yet...

Still keen to see more. I do think he's too big though, but that's just my personal preference. No need to show me scale charts and stuff.  

 

I dunno, hard to tell for sure, but it seems like the sample pics have a head where the forehead part in the helmet is taller, making the whole head longer and less square.
That's a step in the wrong direction for me. I liked the closeup of the head but then the pics labeled sample happened and it seemed different, worse. Hard to say, wotakufighter's other pic next to that little Gundam looks like the same head. Could be a trick of the camera. Probably is.

Thing looks really cool next to Magnus. Will have to see how the final turns out, but looking good overall.

 

I think that anime look is what got me from the moment I saw this. And thinking how good he is gonna look next to Magnus, the real mp8x, Blurr, and Rodimus!! Season three with attitude

 

I actually dig most of the way this looks. His feet look a little fat, but that's not too bad. That said, his face/head look wonky to me. I dunno, Springer is one of my favorites so I'm torn on the purchase. None of the the 3rd party Springer figures are hitting all the marks for me yet.

 

The 'real' mp8x is gonna look like a child next to this guy, especially as the oversized one is only a hair shorter than MP22 and he's not much bigger than Allen himself.
