They were due out in November and December, actually...

I'm in no hurry though. I'm trying to stretch out my purchases, and these guys won't be going anywhere. In fact, their shells are a higher priority for me since they're a limited run of 500.

I wonder, given the factory issues for their last couple of figures, if FP delayed the last two figures to make sure they won't be a problem?

I just wish they gave us an update, if they now have them schedule for November thats fine as long as they communicated it.

Between this and their function x line, it's like Fansproject is still living in the era where 3rd party releases were few and far in between and each one was a guaranteed hit.

My hypothesis is that after their communication about the poor factory quality with their Highbrow release, that they've taken everything to a different production house which sadly means putting lots of things on hold.

No real evidence of course, but it's fun to speculate.

No. That's exactly what happened. It's been discussed in other threads.

FP had a factory that they used for years. The quality was so good that MMC purposely started using it as well starting with Vos.

Unfortunately, the factory shutdown. FP was forced to move production to a new facility. This resulted in a lot of delays. And products, like Highbrow, being lower in quality than they expected. And they've said that they were unhappy with the new factory and are moving again.

It's been a rough time for them when it comes to production. It's unfortunate.

    Fascinating info, explains a ton

I imagine this came from conversations at one of the conventions?

It's really disappointing since the older factory did good work

Edit: is this place the same as the Maketoys factory? Whatever place did Pandimus KILLED IT! Such a complex figure but it's rock solid as hell

Honestly, I thought this guy was released and completed. I had to look it up on BBTS (if the last ones were in stock). It makes no sense to me to pause the figures just to get the dino shells out first.....

There's a display room at TFNation with some amazing pieces.

We've seen plenty of pictures of these guys but hopefully having them as stand alone rather than as a pair of legs means we're getting closer.

Ugh. That picture has regret written all over. Look at the gun pegging into the blue ones hand. At least they are essitially the same figure so once they start rolling on it it should move

I just keep reminding myself how unique Dinoking will look in my collection

I'm hoping thats down to how thick his arms are compared to the hand. Maybe the arm is just blocking it going down any further... I hope. But I';; be honest this set has taken far too long and they will stay are Dino king when I finally get them all.

If you look at the solicit photos up on all the stores, that gun is actually for the other one, and there's a different gun for him. Dinogo is supposed to come with the main barrel of the combined gun. Here, Dinoroku appears to be holding Dinosan's gun.

    Unless the plans changed...
