Just as long as he doesn't compare himself to a leaf on the wind. I kinda don't want to see him get impaled again.
Amazing trailer. Looks like plenty of action and comrodity among the group. I like the score since this an OT story, thought I heard some trumpets from the Burton/Batman theme lol. I also like that there will be no lightsabers to keep this a soldier's story. This will be bittersweet as the outcome looks pretty grim for this rebel group.
Awesome trailer. I love seeing shots of vehicles flying lower to the ground. That's something that never happened much, before ep VII. I'm looking forwards to seeing the battle in the rain in general. I love rain in action scenes. Also, the shot of the front of that Star Destroyer emerging form the shadows was awesome. Moving on from visual spectacle, it's great seeing more glimpses of these characters' personalities. I'm really looking forwards to seeing this films' leads, other than the main girl. Jin, or whatever. She seems annoying.

I already feel I'm going to get attached to a lot of these characters only to be crushed in the end. That shot of the heroes after she says are you with me? You know it's a one way trip.
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story translation Star Wars: Rogue One - A Damn Suicide Mission VADER GOIN KILL EER BODY!!! All i want is Vader onscreen for about 10 to 15 minutes killing everything. Using the force push to knock like 4 to 5 Rebels off a cliff. I'd like to see him levitate a guy while force choking him... and at the same time, throw his lightsaber at an escaping Rebel (cutting him in half). And lastly, A 1 on 1 battle between Vader & one of the major crew members of Rogue One where they fight pretty evenly for a second... and then Big V stops playin' and completely & totally annihilates him.
I know he's Sonny, as well as Turbo in Wreck-It Ralph and Krei in Big Hero 6. I was referring to his character Dutch from DOTM, since this is a Transformers forum. EDIT: Also, I hope now they dedicate the movie to Kenny Baker.
The eclipse is one of the coolest looking scenes in years. I do wonder if Rogue One will dedicate this to the memory of Kenny Baker or they'll save it for Episode 8.
The actor who played Adm. Ackbar in both Jedi and Awakens, erik bauersfeld, passed away this past April so there might be one for Rogue and one for EP8.
Hmm, I think The Force Awakens kinda spoiled this one. The whole big deal is the return of the Death Star, the Empire, and of course Darth Vader, but TFA literally just did knock offs of all of that, so like, what's the point now? Upside-down Death Star eclipse was pretty cool, though.
I Love the "Rogue One" Cast -- And That's Why They Should Die | Comic Book Resources Spoiler "These are characters that do an incredibly important thing, yet they are forgotten in the so-far established canon. None of their names have been spoken before, their faces haven't been seen, and their memory hasn't been honored. Of course that's because "Rogue One" is set in the moments before another movie released nearly 40 years ago. Of course "A New Hope" doesn't reference Jyn Erso and her team; George Lucas didn't create them and, odds are, even he didn't really know how the plans imade their way to Princess Leia. And fans definitely don't want another edit of the 1977 film that inserts a shout-out to "Erso and Captain Andor" after Dodonna finishes discussing proton torpedoes. But still, "Rogue One" is a prequel being retroactively inserted into "Star Wars" canon. It's right on top of "A New Hope," and this franchise loves putting together continuity puzzles. Why aren't Jyn Erso and her team in "A New Hope"? We know it's really because Felicity Jones was six years away from being born in 1977, but what's the in-universe explanation? What's the "Star Wars" solution? The solution I want to see is death. Big death. Lots of death, but not meaningless death. In fact, I want the opposite of that. I want this movie to obliterate my emotions by making me care about all of these underdogs -- and then I want them all to die, because that's the best way to honor them." I agree with this statement, and feel it should happen. And I feel that Rebels runs on a similar premise to this, looks way better than this, and that maybe Ezra and Kanaan and the others should also sacrifice their lives. But I like them enough that I want them to survive too, I'm so confused...
