Sometimes I just have to sit back a laugh at the rediculouseness that is a movie thread. It just goes from one extreme to the other.

Did you watch prime? Cause this is basically prime Megs with skirt armor and a bigger gun. It's megatron cause hasbro said its megatron. Besides, when has megatron EVER had a set design???

It's a good design, don't get me wrong, but this is FAR from the best cybertronian design of all time.

 

It's a Dinozaur. Of course, the AOE Dinobots also reminded me of these guys, too.

 

The shoulder spikes, Horns, big gun and khanda sword axe puts this Megatron over the top!

 

Okay design despite how generic it looks.

The axe/sword thing reminds me of Toa Lewa for some reason.

Cool he finally has his canon at long last.

Shame he'll probably have a Cybertronian mode...bleh.

 

He's most likely the three-headed dragon on the billboard. It looks like his skirt are two wings wrapped around him; his two legs would be two heads, and the third would be in his chest; and his two arms are the dragons legs.

 

Because of the colors and arm plating, I really thought this was a guy that transformed into a Christmas ornament ball for a like a solid minute before my brain caught up.

 

He legitimately looks like a mechanical demon and I really like that! All I can say is he better be stronger than Sentinel Prime and Lockdown. The decepticon tyrant needs his chance to shine.

Finally, Megs has a fusion cannon! It looks like the movie people have at last taken note of our pleas!

 

Another thing I'd like to note is that his design has a nice Liege Maximo feel to it.

 

This is the best megatron design we've gotten in the film franchise.

 

That really reminds me of the crappy Skeletor design from the DC comics.



So, what we basically have here is Bay-verse Megatron, crossed with DC Skeletor. Maybe if I look close enough I'll find Mumm-Ra in there too!

I don't know if I like it or loathe it. The Fusion Canon is a nice touch though!

What I find interesting about this, the more I look at it, is the fact that it says "ruthless Decepticon oppressor." What could that mean? Generic Megatron? Could they be going down the DJD or TFP route? Also, could this be the actual guy or another guy? If the former is the case, why'd they change his name back? Fresh start? If the latter is, why name him Megatron? Beast Wars? It seems that, with what we have, it takes place at a different time/place/is something new entirely. This actually interests me.

 

Well KSI took parts from megetron to make galvatron but megatron infected galvatron so because it wasn't really megatron that's why they're not calling him galvatron again but once again megatron.
