Hopefully this means a better toy, like how the characters who didn't change in the previous films got better designed toys as time went on.
Agreed. Crosshairs is the only character I like from the movie series and he has an amazing robot mode, so it was disappointing when the deluxe class figure turned out horribly. Hopefully the Deluxe class figures are actually Generations-quality level of figures.
Isn't that the concept art from AoE? Guess the changes were pretty minimal lol. Goggles still look cool, tho I did like the red and blue from before.
Hey, it's my favorite trenchcoat parachute dude! Nice beard. Was it always there or did you deco'd it in?
Huh, I guess we are getting a Transformers film where the designs for the majority of the characters stay the same. I've seen this in the past like with ROTF to DOTM (and in Optimus Prime's case the first three movies, I still feel like Bumblebee had just a little too much changes in DOTM to say that it was the same), but I feel like it is going to be more apparent here. Also good job actually advertising the film. I don't think we saw any of the robot modes for the characters until Toy Fair, and even then we knew that we didn't see the Chevy Camaro SS 2014 Bumblebee robot design (at least I don't think so).
Yes! Looking at these reveals I wish Hot Rod's facial design was expressive-looking like Crosshairs, but we'll see how it looks in the finished movie. I look forward to seeing more of the Pathetic Dirty Foursome in TLK!
Glad to see he's coming back. Now if only Human Alliance would make a come back so he could get Crosshairs in that sub-line.
Yay! Crosshairs has to be my favorite Autobot from the Cinematic Universe. Don't mind if there isn't much change but hey can't wait to see how his deluxe will turn out. Loved the one from AOE and loved it better as Hot Shot/Tracks.
AOE Deluxes were so-so because they were only Generations-like. They need to be ROTF-like to be good/more accurate.
The Generations line is pretty good. Would it be good if the Movie Figures were more like the ROTF line? Yes. However, I wouldn't mind if they had actual Generations level of quality, unlike the AOE knock-off style.
So today Crosshairs, yesterday Sqweeks, before that Drift, and before that Hot rod. I'm going to guess the next 3 days well see Hound Bee and Prime reveals.
