Lol at the picture in the link! Anyways happy 30th samus! Metroid is 30 Years Old Today - Nintendo Life
She told me she wants to go on many more adventures but Nintendo never calls her cause they're freaking incompetent and clueless.
Want to know something funny? Back when Retro was making Prime 3, they wanted to add bounty hunting missions to the game, but Nintendo wouldn't allow it because when they classified Samus as a bounty hunter in the original games, they didn't actually know what a bounty hunter was... Nintendo is THIS stupid people...
In the captain N comics not only is she a bounty hunter she turns in captain N in one story! Oh course the princess gave her more money then mother brain so she helped him out at the end of the story!
i would take a 2.5D Metroid game. not like Metroid Other M. more like New Super Mario Bros. 2.5D now i got the urge to play Metroid Zero Mission.
Speaking of 2D Metroid game, someone made a fan remake of Metroid 2 and it can be downloaded for the webpage: Link to the Metroid 2 fan remake page. So they are thinking of her as a freelance agent or a mercenary?
funny enough, the first time i learned samus was a woman was in smash bros. i never beat the metroid games as a kid, and thus, never saw the ending reveals.finding out she's a she instead of a he made her even cooler in my eyes. also, i always loved gun arms.......
Nintendo may not be acknowledging Metroid, but the fans sure are! Oh, by the way, for anyone unaware, the fan remake of Metroid 2 was finally finished and released yesterday, and it is GLORIOUS!
your not the only one. i had the Nes one but i never understood the whole password saving thing because i haven't started school yet and could not read. i had a poster of Metroid 2: Return of Samus but it never dawned on me that it was a gameboy game and i only had 3 GB games, Super Mario Land 1&2 and tetris at the time, never knew of Super Metroid until i got Super Smash Bros. on N64, saw samus and read the bio and learned that Samus is a woman. all i thought was ''that is a cool info to know.'' i searched every game store that sells older games and found Super Metroid, bought it went home and absolutely fell in love it. a few months later i got Metroid 2 on GB. i never beat the NES original but did beat the GBA classic series version.
I think the first Metroid Game I got was Fusion then Zero Mission next. I enjoyed those games and I begin to like what kind of a character Samus is. Not to mention I love how she looks in her Zero Suit too. I hope Nintendo considers doing another Metroid game that doesn't repeat the mistakes Other M made because she needs a better game after that.
Happy anniversary Metroid! It's my personal favorite Nintendo exclusive franchise, and I really hope they announce a new game for the NX.
