My prediction: sqweeks is an invention created by Marky Mark and is brought to life by an allspark shard or some other cybertronian mcguffin. Not alien-like enough to be a born(?) Autobot...

I really don't understand how this robot really functions. He has handle bars for hands, so I don't really understand how he holds things. Hopefully there will be some added CGI in the film that helps this make sense to me.

Hmm bio basically states what we already know, minus the "underestimation" quote. I hope he can at least last a minute with a con. Like maybe one grabs him and his hands turn into little cannons or something and blasts them in the face. Or maybe he pulls a futurama and has his little innocent form as seen here then cgi magic has him covert into a force to be wreckoned with.

....though i really hope he doesnt drop a con.

His hands are brake handles. I assume that he's only onscreen to beg for the sweet release of death from the agony that is his constant existence.

In all honesty I seriously have no idea how this guy will be able to move around and stuff. With any luck he's practical effects mostly.

I will say that they're improving on one of the main issues I've had with these movies. Before, rather hyping the movies up with character previews, they kept so much under wraps it was hard to understand who was who and what was what. I'm still not 100% convinced it's going to be a stellar movie, but this type of marketing is going to work for them rather than against them. We don't need to know entire storylines and character details, just give us bits and pieces to work with, much like Marvel and Star Wars do. :)

Agreed. It looks more like a poorly thought out scrap metal sculpture than a living being capable of moving around and doing stuff.

Uuhh....Okay; I guess. Interesting little guy.
I'm surprised they didn't just randomly name him Warpath, or something from the movieverse name-a-bot grab bag.

    That would be cool.

Going by past movies, He'll either do little beyond basic comic relief, or he'll be eaten by some large 'con and destroy it from the inside out in an explosion of robo-entrails.

It would be cool if Sqweeks turn out to be the autobot last knight, lol.

again, why people assume he's man-made instead of being a pure Cybertronian just judging by his looks?
hell why people did not assume Drift to be man-made because he looks like he was created by the Japanese people judging by his appearance alone instead of being Cybertronian?

The body is adorable and seems fun, but that giant head with the headlights for eyes just doesn't do it for me at all. Dunno if I can deal with that! Hopefully he's such a fun character that he just steals my heart in the actual movie, although that's not likely.

headlights for eyes, looks very primitive and man made, why has it got a peg leg? not ot mention the vespa shell makes it look like a shellformer if it was from cybertron it could shrink those panels

Because unlike the other movie designs he looks very simplistic, he doesn't even have hands. He looks very much like a bot Cade would have had a hand in building based on the bots he had built in the last movie. Drift is not a good example based on the fact some transformers through the years have had traits similar to other cultures and his design is more in line to what we know a cybertronian transformer looks like based on past movies.
