I opened up mine last night and to echo others, very cool figure. Haven't bothered to transform him yet but am very happy with him in hand. Looks very much Hound to me.

Well, I don't think it's a Universal Joint per se, but it's a full-range-of-movement joint mechanism. Anyway, they're a little loose with abduction/adduction but forward/backward movement is the looseness that bothers me.

If anyone knows a solid yet easy way to fix this, I'd be grateful.

Yeah; It's a very minor gripe. I like the hue/tone, but would have preferred it be matte finish.

Use a standard FT screw, slightly bigger then the present screw should fix it.

"FT"? I know you don't mean "Fans' Toys", but...

Here is an adapter I have been working on. I hope to get the design straightened up a bit but the concept is there. Moving the missile over to his actual shoulder and by using the connector that came with Willis it allows for full rotation.

Honestly looks maybe a little too far off to the side now but I'll wait for clearer pics before making my mind up.

For what it's worth I have the Sphinx ones, the small change makes a great difference!

Not sure about all that, but I'll take the compliment!

I took the photo with it rotated quite a bit. I wouldn't normally rotate it that much. If it's rotated just a few degrees it sits right over the shoulder and looks pretty good.

I'll have some more pics of the final part later today.

Oh, and glad the sphinx adapter worked out!

Yes Fanstoys, those extra parts have screws to use.

3x screw to access that area.

That's a nice simple idea - I might have to print one of those out myself.

Did using that longer screw work to tighten up the ankle?

I just got mine today! What a great figure! The ankles are a little loose, but I think I will try to replace the screws as mentioned above and see if it makes a difference.

I guess I'm a little confused. Where are you guys getting the new screw from?

Spare parts like insecticon bug legs, or replacement parts for other FT figures.

I wish it was easier to get spare screws for TFs. A bag of mixed screw types would be helpful. It would be nice if retailers could offer this.
