When we first learned that Shockwave would be in DOTM, some mainstream news sources were quick to report that Shockwave was the Decepticon leader on Cybertron, which was then promptly taken as "confirmation" by the fandom.

Turns out they just looked up what Shockwave's role was in the G1 cartoon and thought that the G1 cartoon characters translate directly to the movierverse.

I predict a similar situation to AOE. One row of Generations Deluxes, Voyagers, and Leaders. Then the rest with the new movie with barely any re-ordering by the retailers after the first waves of Generations. OR the Generations line will "continue" with little distribution in the US.

I can agree with the Feeling. The "Brand is dying" from Some parts in SoCal. I see the same toys in the stores. Target reduced it stock into 2 columns where as Jurassic Park gets 4 and Star Wars almost have a whole role. The Generations and Titans are hard to find outside the internet. It takes me months to see something new after a release. Takara as been getting my money. Repaints are much too frequent. The price to quality ratio is declining for the Hasbro toys. I'm not spending yesteryear's Beast Wars' Basic money for a today mini-con transformation or size. Bring back the magic.

I'm mad i never saw Swelter at retail, he was one of the only minicons I thought was cool.

We got a Hot Rod coming in Titans Returns if that means anything.

There's the MP by Takara also.
