So yesterday was a big Hot Toys day for me. I have been saving for a while and I got a bonus, so it was time to make a purchase or two.... My local comic shop got in a persons collection and they had they Avengers Mark 7 Sideshow Exclusive for $225, I could not resist so I picked that up. They also had Avengers Thor for $200, but I held off and I picked up Han and Chewie. Han was $215 and Chewie was $235, I then went home and ordered the 1/6 scale Delorean from BBTS!!! I can't wait to get that in. That was an expensive day, time to start saving again...

MKXLII Arrived and I am simply blown away. This guy is amazing and I love have you basically have 3-4 different configurations of battle damage. Only nitpick is no leg battle damaged parts.
yeah, i love the mark 42, and you're absolutely right about the battle damage. i wish there were some removable leg pieces, and i also wish the entire chest was removable. the piece the upper part of the chest looks strange when the battle damaged part is put on. i think the mark 45's battle damaged chest piece works the best so far. the paint job on the rest of the figure is so beautiful that the damage works nicely with it. i'm sick of waiting for the war machine mark 1, mark 3, the iron man mark 46, sneaky, disco, and the mark 6 lol.
Got my Detolf set up with the new Diode lights. I only have these 3 Hot Toys but I have 3 more I plan on getting so I'm keeping my display empty until they arrive.
Flipping awesome! I keep flip flopping on this. But I think I'm going to have to stay away. I think I've settled on the knightmare version and the joker version. It is beautiful though, there's no denying that.
It's a gorgeous piece but I also feel like I can do without and just be satisfied with the Mezco one. I have Knightmare incoming too.
The Delorean really is a beautiful piece. I'm quite baffled by Hot Toys' approach to BTTF. They showed the car, Marty and Doc at SDCC 2014, but never released Doc. They showed the BTTF 2 car and Marty at SDCC 2015 and BTTF 2 car, Marty and Doc at SDCC 2016, and orders went up for Doc and Marty not long after... yet BTTF Doc still hasn't shown up... I'll end up with a matched Marty & car with no Doc, and a matched Marty & Doc with no car... very frustrating.
Well.. My exchanged ultron prime arrived, so, I opened it up to put the batteries in, I started with the chest because that's what was busted the last time.. After a small push of the batteries, it works just fine. Now.. I put the batteries into one of the arms and.. Oh joy, another problem, this time the switch wouldn't work and the lights wouldn't turn off. Well, I figured, that's fine, I'll just put batteries in when I want them on, or get a reactor for it. Then I saw that there are two screws, I loosened up the screws a tiny bit, and viola the switch works right now. Anyways, I'm still getting ultron Mark 1, and I'm still hoping for an ultimate version with a better paint job. The paint job on ultron prime makes it look way dated, it's crazy. Makes me glad I never really got into back to the future. Love the movies, just not enough to buy merchandise from them.
