Why is this set $60 while the Optimus Prime sets were $50?

EDIT: Meant $50 for the Prime sets, not $40.

 

I wish they would re-release the first set in the format that this one is in. It looks like these are the new hands and feet they made

 

bigger backpack, new head, and sword extension?

 

Aren't the Prime sets $50 most places?

 

They are, I was paying more attention to the four instead of the nine at the end. Still, $60 does seem a bit too expensive for this set.

 

Combination of more specific color matching and lower likelihood of sales. G2 repaints are already a niche market, on top of that now we've got 3P niche on top of that.

 

The prime sets are hands feet and torso part. This is hands feet torso head weapon. A price increase seems legit. And its cheaper then the original was. 39.99 for the torso head and weapon and 39.99 for the hands and feet.

 

They combined a hand/foot set with the torso/sword/head set. So it's$60 for the combo versus $64 for the two separate sets. I'm in. Preordered promptly.

 

Hopefully they fix the color on the feet and hands since they should be color matched to Blackjack's axe.

 

Shipping from PSX is gonna be killer but they could always drop a random exclusive

Nice! I was hoping they'd do a set for Menasor.

 

Gonna wait for a price drop but I'll get this eventually. It's surprising how much I like the G2 Menasor set, especially with the Renderform Weapons Set. Glad I didn't jump for the head since this one is pretty nice.

 

Everything's great, except for the head. It's fine, but now I'll have an extra head because I ordered from Renderform...

Any idea when this is going to land at BBTS?

 

Maybe they hired the Hasbro photographer? But then again he's still transformed better then in Hasbro shots.
