The old guy and the dog.

I have decided to be a Pokemon collector in GO, you can't stop at the churches here in a car.

I'm sure there are pople that own the properties that are into the game and call the police if someone is near their gym.

Today, I noticed they have another click screen to tell you not to go to the hood or trespass.

It's sad people can't have nice things because of evil people.

Don't mind Rowlett and Litten's finals, but uhg to the max for Popplio's...

I also hope the Alola forms aren't an excuse to keep the number of new guys down the way Megas were in XY

    This is interesting.

I wonder what place the new Vulpix and Sandshrew line will have in a team? The new Ninetales seems like it would be better if one were looking for an Ice type, because its Fairy typing helps against Fighting types whilst Sandslash will have a 4x weakness. That Exeggutor is hilarious. Because I am going to choose Rowlett, I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it.

One of the biggest shake ups seems to be the new trial system. It looks to me that the Gyms are not going to be in Sun and Moon, instead replaced by trials, totem Pokémon, Kahunas, etc. This certainly shakes things up, which is something that a lot have been asking for. It will make planning out a team a bit more difficult, however, until one gets used to it.

I'm curious if these new riding Pokémon are going to replace HMs? I would be pretty thankful for that. HMs can hold teams and Pokémon down.

i went to Gamestop today and got 8 codes for Arceus and a buddy of mine asked me if i've seen the new video for Sun and Moon. told him no and started telling me what new stuff are revealed. about Exeggutor, vulpix and sandshrew and he got his tablet so i can see what he was talking about while he helps costumers.

Exeggutor's new form is wicked! if i'm right, Alola Form Exeggutor is the first Grass/Dragon type pokémon, right? along with Sandshrew/Sandslash being the first Ice/Steel type pokémon.

looks like Sun and Moon will be a great entry to the Pokémon franchise.

Really liking the new Alolan Forms. Although I'm curious how that might work with the regular forms of Pokemon from other games. I like what I'm seeing of the Island Challenge Trials as well. I'm guessing that'll be sorta like these games version of Gyms.

I'm definitely passing on these games. It's a shame, because I liked the Gen 6 games because it was the old-school 'complete Pokédex and become Champion quest', but with new Pokémon (and Mega-Evolutions), in a 3D environment. Also, I will scream the day Pokémon Shining Diamond and Pokémon Dim Pearl are announced.

    It's shame the close mindedness.

It's new mechanics and they're being super creative.

I mean they actually just added real evolution in pokemon, the possibilities.

    Fire type Marowak confirmed??

Kiawe is a captain whose expertise is in Fire-type Pokémon. Together with his Marowak, he studies the traditional dances that have been passed down in the Alola region.

I'm have little mixed feeling overall on a bunch of stuff in the trailer.

Alola forms scare me. In some ways they seem like a cop out from making new Pokemon. As of the new forms themselves I think they look cool but I prefer new Pokemon over making changes to old ones. Also show sandshrew and sandslash be snowshrew and snowslash?
Z moves look like they will replace mega forms. I wish mega Pokemon would come back. Z moves also look like an easy win ticket for in game. Battling real people might be different.

The new leader system looks cool and I'm really interested.

As long as we get more new pokemon cose to the 100 marks and not Kalos's 76, I don't have any complaints personally.

But like Mega's, should be used sparingly and only when it feels right.

Y'know if subspecies were released originally no one would really complain, because it would be so early in numbers that more people would probably understand that "Oh cool, evolutions of pokemon that can evolve differently, it's almost like real life, understandable mechanic"

Also apparantly these are some variants that came with the start final evolutions a few months back.

    Bug/Psychic Butterfree

    Water Arcanine

    Dark Raticate

    Fighting Alakazam

    Fighting/Poison Nidoking and Nidoqueen

    Fighting/Flying Dodrio

New forms for old Pokemon is neat. It's actual evolution :lol
I would like to see a few more, but not too many.
Strange how 2 of the 3 they revealed were ice types, despite being in a tropical region.

The new Pokemon look alright. Like the mantis line. Others are just decent. I also like the amount of variety they're giving, with the 4 forms for the bird, and the 4 colors for the rock.

Z-Moves are cool, but I don't think they'll be particularly amazing. A one time use "Remove enemy" button is cool, but I'm not exactly drooling over them.

I like the riding Pokemon thing, as it seems some have over world function, but I don't like that it means I'd have to have someone like Sharpedo on my team to make use of it.

If the leaks are real, then color me excited for Popplio's final form. Such a beauty, I'm hype.

I also hope Mega Evolution is brought back. I like that it breathed new life into older Pokemon that was left behind by power creep. They don't have to go crazy and introduce a ton, but like, maybe 10-20 new Mega Evos in this game wouldn't be too much to ask for.

    Absolutely none.
However, considering every Pokemon game has been the last Pokemon game, I guess it's just par for the course to make this dumbass assumption.

They work like Latios/Latias in ORAS, they just appear.

One aspect of the culture in the Alola region is something known as Poké Ride, in which certain Pokémon help people get to places they wouldn’t be able to reach by using human strength alone. These Pokémon don’t join your team, but you can call on them anytime to receive their help. This practice is typical of the way of life in Alola, where humans and Pokémon are so closely bound together “

Also there is a theory going around that due to Alola's islands being named after Hawaiian words for colors, the sub species of Kanto pokemon and the specific enviroment. Some are taking as Alola is within range of the Orange Archipelago. Makes even more sense when in the anime Ash and friends went northwest from Unova through the Delacore Islands to Virillion City. Due to Alola is based off Hawaii and Unova is based of the U.S.A.

Ah, that's pretty neat. I'm glad, since it means I won't need to shove another Charizard onto my team :lol
Also, wow, it seems like they really are phasing HMs out, with what seems like getting a Charizard to soar and Sharpedo to surf. Never thought they'd do that.

I'm curious to how customized Surf will be when it comes to who you're riding.
