    I haven't had any problems with their CS recently, but it is definitely different than, say, 10 years ago. Back then I almost felt guilty about reporting QC issues, because often I would end up with a free replacement figure, with CS saying it wasn't worth their time to have me return the defective one. These days not so much... which is completely understandable. :lol 

    I do hope they decide to honor the Ollie Beta Test Discount... it's the only way I'd buy a new one.

    To me this is all about XTB and little to do with BBTS. In general I have been sick with XTB simply because they never reply to emails and nothing they have is updated. How hard is it to post something legitimate on your webpage? I believe if I had that I could send that to BBTS and it would be fine. I hardly blame BBTS for this because unless they know exactly they can get their refund why would they put themselves in that position.

    Most of these companies that make MP scaled bots are pretty bad when it comes to communication with the consumer base. This includes FB and social media pages that lack updates as well as company websites that aren't updated with new information. That's one of my biggest gripe about the company. MMC seems to do the best job. But XTB/KFC, FansToys, Takara fuhgetttaboutit. You would think with this release, XTB would use it as an opportunity to mend broken trust with the consumer base and issue a formal statement regarding the 50% discount on their FB pages and website. Instead most of us had to find out about by prying the info out of retailers.

    One would think BBTS has the contact info to whomever they're dealing with to get the product. They could always reach out and inquire much easier than any of us can.

    I contacted XTransbots about my broken Andras ankle, they got the part to me. If they can do that for a no name like me, they can get in contact with BBTS.

    As of this moment, no. According to a post earlier in this thread, their customer service rep told another board member that they would not be participating in the promotion.

    Thanks. I've heard some folks on these boards say that XTB isn't always consistent when it comes to replying to emails. Hopefully they have changed.

    I have a pretty good quality version 1 for $35 shipped CONUS if anyone is interested in a cheap v1. Main issue it had was loose joints which I tightened with nail polish. No box or instructions (can't seem to find them). Have figure, gun and slingshot only. Selling to get v2.

    I thought I read, one of the sellers mentioned a deal if you can prove you bought V1 from them they would deep discount V2. TF Source?

    Yeah, pretty much every established toy seller is selling V2 for 50% off if you bought V1 from them. Well everyone except BBTS it seems...

    Yeah, I just got an email response from BBTS saying they wouldn't do it. It's making me consider moving elsewhere. Kind of frustrating, given the amount of money I spend with them.

    Did they give you any kind of reason why? Seems pretty shitty with how big they are that they can't or won't offer it and pretty much every other retailer (even the little guys) are. Really pissed that the one thing I buy from them (they were the only ones who still had it in stock), and I get shafted for it. Pretty much cements that they will always be my absolute last resort. Not to sound entitled, but if pretty much every other retailer can do it, there's no logical reason they can't.

    It's not the seller's responsibility to replace or give a discount if you bought a V1 and want the V2 because it is better. No matter how you look at it. You decided to buy V1, they did not say 'Well if you buy it and a better version comes out we will hook you up!". You tell me anyone who does that? Hasbro? Takara? Hmm? That's like me selling you a car. The the new one comes out and I am like okay they changed and fixed some issues with this. How about I sell you a new one for 50% off? Just doesn't work like that.

    Also BBTS does tend to bend over backwards a lot of times for its customers.
