Are those articulated elbows and ankles on the Targetmaster?
If so, wow.

 

His name is Kojin I believe.

Does he have his targetmaster partner?

EDIT: Silly me, it's there on his shoulder.

 

I hope MMC sells that targetmaster separately in some form. It looks great.

 

OK, so the Targetmaster has double-hinged elbows. And an ab crunch?

 

I'm a huge G1 fan and Artfire was my grail for the longest time...so yes, I'm pretty damn excited about Kojin/Artfire here.

Looks pretty sweet. But I have to ask, other than the G1 toy being rare, why do people like Artfire so much? Did he have a significant presence in the Japanese TF universe? I generally prefer the red fire truck that is Inferno. And, if I shell out cash for both MP Inferno and Grapple, isn't Artfire a tad bit redundant? Just trying to better understand the love for Artfire.

So cool!! The target masters came after my time as a kid, I like MMC's Inferno, the design is great but not enough to buy it, not to mention I have only been collecting combiners, but Artfire... man the color is so cool and right on with the G1 version, I gotta buy it!
Does anyone know when this will be coming up for pre-order or release?

 

Not a knock on them... it just looks like unfinished Inferno to me. So does the real Artfire. I, too, held Artfire and Stepper in that kind of "ohh, unobtainable holy grail" status for a long time... but eh. Does nothing for me. Good for them getting another use out of the mold, tho'.

The Targetmaster is really impressive, only concern would be the thin struts on the thighs that make up the transformation hinge.

 

What kind of a release is this going to get? If it is normal release and price I'm down. Gonna need a Stepper from the Jazz mold as well.

 

Hoping we'll get a Hauler from this mold too.

 

That may be the best looking Targetmaster/Headmaster I have seen to date. Very impressive.

 

I don't like the concept of Targetmasters. I just pretend they're Mini-Cons  

 

I know MMC is aware of the repaint. They were non-committal either way though. I'm inclined to expect one at some point, maybe when they have a lull between other figures.

 

I would be more inclined to bite on a Hauler repaint since he is attached to western cannon. I had to google Artfire...

 

I'm ready!

 

My biggest remold/redeco wants from MMC right now are Hauler from Girder, and Crasher/Fracture from Sphinx....please make it happen MMC
