Okay, so we're not getting like A+ or B- or "#36 out of 266" kind of grades, it's going to look like a tournament where you just cut the field down bit by bit... I'm still nervous as hell but I'm okay on the grading.

(starts praying to no deity in particular)

I guess since names are up now, I may as well say which one I did.

I did the pirate one with the skull combined with the Decepticon logo.

If you can't tell, I've been watching a LOT of "One Piece" lately.

:lol  I was wondering who did those One Piece logos. Every time I scrolled through the entries I had to just stop and stare at those two.

As long as we're coming clean, mine are the Autobot Elite and Decepticon Elite symbols about 3/4 down the page. I designed with marketability in mind and I knew straight lines would be the most common theme in the entries, so to stand out I made a point to use none. Smooth lines for efficiency and sharp points for strength, when things are improved that's always the way it goes. Plus I know ReproLabels loves their Fast and the Furious street decals so I thought they would look good with those :lol

Mine are the seeker and wreckers ones on row 6. I figure the seeker one is the only one that's really got a chance. I like both, but I think the seeker one has more overall appeal.

The wreckers symbol was really just me wanting to try something different with that whole eyepatch/scar deal.

I actually made two seeker symbols. It took me forever to make up my mind on which one to submit. I really didn't want to submit two versions of the same thing. The other looked a bit more like a decepticon symbol, but I really liked the overall look of this one. The star shape of the head gives it a more air force-like look, in my opinion.

i did the Disciples of thunder wing ( Green Bludgeonish symbol)

and the rumble riders ( next to aforementioned symbol)

at the top of the page, The rumble one is for all the "tuner" alts, i figured they could make rumble the leader cuz he reminds me of the punk street racer type.

I really don't think I need to say which ones are mine. My avatar has been visible for quite some time.

    Mine

Okay, I felt left out, so I just whipped this up. Of course I can't win, but this is what I'd have submitted if I could :)

Yay, I found mine! (the Symbol of Wisdom and Courage ones)
I hope I'd win, but man, after seeing the others entries, mine looks like garbage compared to them. Oh well, at least it was fun.

Well, the bulk of the symbols were eliminated in the first round.

Please don't hate us if you're one of them. We had to get rid of some great symbols there.

    Ebay:

    "Grading

D: We thank you for your entry and hope you will participate again in future contests, but we cannot judge your entry because you either submitted too many, it was not your own design, or there were too many colors.

5: Your entry was among the many wonderful submissions that were considered. Don't feel bad - Many great designs are ruled out at this early stage because there were so many excellent entries to choose from.

4: You submitted an above-average design that made us give it extra thought, but it did not move on to the next round of eliminations.

3: Your design really caught our eye. There is something about it that is unique and artistic, but it will not move on to the next round of eliminations.

2: Your design is a strong candidate for winner. It is among the final three symbols we will look at.

1: You won the grand Prize!"

The only grades listed so far are D and 5, which are disqualifications and lowest ranked entries. Basically if you got graded, you're out.

Whew, looks like I made it through round 1 at least... This is going to be nerve-wracking every time I hear new grades have gone up.

It was good, I agree. The cog section was a nice touch. I had little to do with the first round, though :(

Wahoo! I hope to make it at least to three...or two...I mean, I want one...but one of those would make me happy!

EDIT-Its funny. There are a few that I expected would end up being stiff compitition that got cut out in the first round.

    Ouch. I got a 5.

After the first contest ended with a revision of the G1 symbols winning, I went that route this time and didn't get anywhere. Guess I'll never know what the reprolabels owner is looking for in a marketable symbol.
